Video - A few hours after new arrivals, Garden Car, Fiddlesticks 1
[The first thing that shows up on the screen is something very, Very Neon Green before it's pulled away to reveal... something cartoonish if it wasn't for the shine and fact it's real, if not creepily unexpressive. It's also smaller than Princess. Also still Neon Green as it floats next to a grinning, orange clad Eva, who has a smallish red bird settled on her shoulder.]
Hey sorry for not greeting any of you on the platform, but I was kinda distracted some new pokemon.
[That and her phone (mostly her phone), but details.]
Anyway, I figured this is the fastest way to let you all know that starting tomorrow sometime, if you need to move Princess or deal with him, Kuroba-kun's looking after him for the next seven-day.
[Her grin is a fully-fledged one of pure mischief as she ends the feed.]

Chances are, Dancer'll be in her 'ball most of the time and Lele'll likely end up living in the gamecar or cinema or in it's 'ball, too.
[ Audio ]
[ Audio ]
[She hopes.]
[ Audio ]
Besides, it's not the animals I worry about. It's the people they'll annoy.
[Namely: himself. He's already having a hard enough time with Jenivere.]
[ Audio ]
But my point still stands and I'm sure those ordering them will keep them in hand.
[ Audio ]
At least I can't accidentally get a Burrick on board. That would be an ugly disaster.
[He's trying with the small joke. Does he get any points for that, Eva?]
[ Audio ]
I'm guessing that's not the kind of creature one'd have around people, then?
[ Audio ]
Let's just say their name is synonymous with a curse these days. They're considered a pest, basically, and are large, ugly reptiles that...burp noxious plumes of gas at any intruders into their burrows underground.
Re: [ Audio ]
They sound kinda cute and a bit like a betobeton.
[And now she misses her muk even more.]
Do they also stink?
[ Audio ]
[You're so weird, Eva.]
Well, they don't exactly smell like a bed of roses.
Re: [ Audio ]
Neither do betobeton. Hey, if you come to the garden car, Lele can do a holo of one. Lifesize.
[She's... a little too excited. Then again, she adores her muk. Come see it, Garret. come see her living toxic sludge monster.]
[ Action ]
Sure, I'll be there in a bit.
[He takes his time today instead of racing through the carriages with his enhance arachne speed, but it still only takes him a few minutes. It's not like he was doing anything else.]
All right. What did you want to show me?
[As he asked this, Jevinere chirped and flew off his shoulder to find a higher place to perch.]
Re: [ Action ]
[And with little fanfare, a holographic projection (from the creepily blank eyes of Lele, go figure) flickers to life besides Eva, who's face lights up as if it's her birthday before it drops into one of wistful longing. It's very much living sludge and the top of it's -his- head comes up to just under Eva's chest.
Yeah. This is Goopy.]
This is Goopy, a betobeton I caught on the outskirts of Tamamushi a decade ago and he's been on my team ever since. Though... This doesn't do him justice, because you miss out on the best part: his stinkiness.
[EVA IDEN'NO]
[ Action ]
That's a creature? It's a pile of....vaguely shaped goo.
[Also, did she just say it stunk? And that was a good thing? Eva.... what was he going to do with her?
Nothing, that's what. He could just ignore her insanity.][ Action ]
Excuse you, she's perfectly sane! That said, Eva sighs.]
Technically, it was once a water-dwelling creature, probably a mollusc or cephalopod of sorts- that moved onto land around twenty-five-thousand years ago or so. We're not exactly sure why, though it probably has to do with an increase in human numbers and not the popular 'x-rays from the moon' theory.
[ Action ]
He's beginning to think otherwise. Though in a fond way if that helps any.Garrett took another look at the creature's image. He even went so far as to put his hand through the hologram.]
...was that a miniature biology lesson? I'm afraid I don't really know have of what you just said.
Re: [ Action ]
[There's a sheepish bow and she rubs the back of head as she straightens.] Um, what didn't you understand? I can try and explain.
[ Action ]
It's fine. Something about crawling out of the water and... It's still a large pile of goo. That...moves on its own.
You guys have some very interesting animals where you're from.
Re: [ Action ]
[There is so much truth in that statement it's not even funny.]
Goopy's actually more like a slug or squid, actually, just a lot more toxic in general, and one of the handful of known pokemon that can eat literally anything. Also one of the few that don't actually need to mate to reproduce.
[:T]
Re: [ Action ]
[If she didn't have ones even similar to them, guess it would be interesting to learn about them in return. But it made everyone else boring to all share practically the same animals except for the few. Eva's world had a lot more uniqueness in that regard.]
...that slug creates a lot of slime in that case. I would not, personally, want a hug from that creature. No offense.
[ Action ]
[Eva giggles a little but then she turns serious.] I wouldn't let you hug him anyway, purely because of safety issues. He's both poisonous and venomous and I can't take the risk of him reacting negatively to anyone leaning against him that's not me, and I'm still getting him used to my boyfriend, so that tells you the risk factor the adults hold. The juveniles are a lot safer overall.
[ Action ]
...he looks like a ball of slime and he doesn't actually produce that much? If you say so.
[He takes another look at the hologram.] I can believe it's poisonous. Does it have fangs or a barb for the venom? [Honestly he can't tell.] My tail isn't venomous but my fangs are.
I don't normally tell people that.
Re: [ Action ]
Eva sobers as she zooms the hologram in on one of Goopy's hands to show what looks like points of bone occasionally poking through the 'goo-slime' of the muk's body.]
Hidden claws. The juveniles don't have them, and the adults typically only use them in self-defence. We think there might have been something that preyed on the species at some point and that's why they have them.
[A blink, but then:] I won't tell. Anyway, better to think it's the tail than the mouth.
