Please welcome with me our new council! We had a three way tie for our last two spots, so we're going to have twelve members.

These individuals are: Bucky, Curufin, Eva, Feanor, Kaiba, Nerdanel, Nita, Sarai, Yuffie, Ignis, The Doctor, and myself.

Congratulations and we'll have to come up with a good time for our first meeting soon.

This is actually the second election. The first was shortly after the second platform full of people were picked up. It was long overdo for a new one and the majority of the passengers, this is a first.

I've seen elections like this before. In the last place I was in we voted on who would be Guardian of each area or city. It was every six months thing and yes sometimes people were voted because they were popular. The Guardian I worked for was popular, but she was also good at her job.

We also had debates... sort of. More all nominees get together and people ask questions for them to answer and potentially debate about.

That was one of my issues with this election was everyone did it separately instead of doing a whole together thing so people won't potentially have to ask the same question over and over.
