Please welcome with me our new council! We had a three way tie for our last two spots, so we're going to have twelve members.

These individuals are: Bucky, Curufin, Eva, Feanor, Kaiba, Nerdanel, Nita, Sarai, Yuffie, Ignis, The Doctor, and myself.

Congratulations and we'll have to come up with a good time for our first meeting soon.

You're 'a little miffed'? Peter, what the hell? That was a fight. You were getting chewed out. If you're trying for a tough guy image right now, you don't have to with me. Is this because I called you a kid?

It's not an act-I just don't care that much. If he thinks tearing me down is gonna make his day better, whatever-I have more important things to do than listen to him.

I mean I was gonna let him have it for what he said about Gwen but you called him out on that first and then Gwen got mad and I need to check on her again but right now she's curled up in her bed listening to music.

But if you're sure you're fine. I don't like anyone talking to you like that. Now that we know he's sensitive enough to lash back at you like that, how about we avoid provoking him again? You know, unless it's particularly boring around here or some other good reason.

Why shouldn't I be fine? I'm confused why you're more concerned about this than me. It's not like he hurt me.

Why? I mean it was obvious he was trying to upset me but like... he went for the throat but it didn't really cut that deep. Especially since he was way off. On so many things. Flash is way better at that game.

Although-I was gonna throw down when he started questioning May and Ben. Like, I really don't care how much he says about me-but do not try to drag my family.

[May shrugs] I mean I did plenty of yelling at them and they're just an idiot anyway. Plus Peter isn't upset which helps a lot.

[she pauses for a moment]

Despite that I might be silently plotting their death if they hurt Peter again though.

[He scowled a little at May not finding this weird like he was. He stepped back.]

Alright, fine. Just keep the 'I told you so's to someone who can handle it.

[ Peter states, scoffing a little because wow. That had escalated quickly. ]

it was kinda cool how you rushed to my defense like that though... so uh.. thanks.

[He smiled and gave Peter's shoulder a quick, affectionate squeeze.]

You're a good man, Tony. I'm glad Peter has you. You can stay if you want.

[ Peter, not thinking anything of it, nods in agreement. ]

We could all play scrabble or something?

[He shook his head at Peter.]

Maybe later. Your healthy and calm coping mechanism is creeping me out.

[He gave Peter's arm another pat before walking away. It was a lie of course. He didn't think there was anything healthy about Peter's reaction, but he wasn't going to stay and argue.]
