Please welcome with me our new council! We had a three way tie for our last two spots, so we're going to have twelve members.

These individuals are: Bucky, Curufin, Eva, Feanor, Kaiba, Nerdanel, Nita, Sarai, Yuffie, Ignis, The Doctor, and myself.

Congratulations and we'll have to come up with a good time for our first meeting soon.

You're bullying Peter. He's a kid. You're going after him because he said something mildly provoking. It's not right for you to attack his character like that. You've no idea what he's gone through. You're allowed your own opinion on politics- everyone is. You can go after me all you want. I really don't care what you think of me. Just leave the kids alone.

More to the point, we'd do better speaking face to face than drag everyone on the train into this.

It doesn't matter what he's gone through. We've all been through things. This is about the choices you make afterward.

Is he a kid? Or is he a man?

If he's a man, he can be responsible, he can take the attitude about looking out for everyone, about being responsible for everyone, about taking everything on his shoulders. And he can take a harsh word aimed his way because of it.

If he's a kid, he's a kid.

You and he can't have it both ways. So what part are we encouraging like you want us to?

He's a kid. I just said that. He's also my kid. If you were a father or a mentor you'd understand what that feels like. Now I'm going to talk to him about throwing shade at you on the network, but I'm asking you to focus your energy on me or the council or whatever else has your panties in a bunch today. Leave the kids on the train alone, got it? And I have to say, it's not a good look on you. You'd get further on your crusade if you showed some maturity here too.

Now if you want an honest discussion about the democratic process I'll be glad to do that with you. Is that what you'd like?

I wouldn't hesitate to chew out a little brat like him, by the way. You have one kid? I have a nation. My responsibility is to make every person in it grow up to be the best person possible. I've trained my clan for years now, so don't think you have some sole claim to a 'father knows best' thing here. And by the way, I might remind you here that the last time we argued it was about something you ended up agreeing was right anyway, so if we were petty enough to count points...

But you want the kids to grow up the way you want them to grow up, that's clear. So I'll let you do that.

As for the process? It's proved its precise worth already. And it's not going to change, that's clear. And my opinion won't either. So why argue it?

My point was, you should know how it feels then. If someone picked on one of your 'nation of perfect babies', you would've felt protective of them. But then you go and say something stupid like that.

I wasn't suggesting we argue over it. I was offering a discussion between two people who are coming from different government systems and want to express why there is merit in their own style. From what you've said already you don't seem to understand how democracy works.

You know what your problem is Edge? You provoke an argument but then you don't listen to any new information. You've already concluded what you will about me and my ideas but you're not taking the olive branch I'm offering you to have a civil discussion regarding them. Are you only here for the fight or are you actually interested in making some headway for maybe bridging the gap between those who use a democratic tool like an election versus having a monarch on the train?

And for the record, I do know some benefits to a monarch and based on that election, you'd be looking at who would be king.

Hey, Reigen. Sorry you didn't make the council. I was hoping you would.
