Day 29, audio, open
[He knows he promised to leave her alone. He'd been trying his hardest to do that too. However, he hadn't seen her in two days. He had a bad feeling in his stomach, so.. he was breaking his promise, which sucked. The worry was obvious in his tone along with the guilt of knowing he was crossing lines.
But, he was a dad. He might not be her dad, but it was a dad thing. He had to.]
Buttercup, if you're hiding from me, fine. Just.. let someone know to tell me you're okay?
Has anyone seen her? I don't need to know anything other than that. Just, as long as she's safe and someone has seen her.

I only just met her in the kitchen a few nights ago. But I do suppose you've checked the roster.
[He sighs as he's now sitting there checking the damn thing and he's quiet for a moment.]
I have to wonder if her going home is better than being stuck with us.

From the what I've heard about her homelife I don't believe that is the case.
[He sighs.]
But it does appear the girl is gone. Her name on the roster is now gold and that's what happened when Gwen vanished. Dammit.
[He thinks another moment.]
You don't know a recipe for honey cakes do you?

I am sorry..
[He really doesn't know what to say. For the brief time he'd got to cook for her, she was a sweet little thing. But then Tony's voice took him out of those thoughts.]
I haven't made them in a long time, but of course I do.
[A pause]
I don't suppose you knew her real name?

[Assuming the girl came back, of course. He didn't want to acknowledge the man's sympathies since he didn't want to acknowledge the fact Buttercup might really be gone. It wasn't anything personally against this calm, quiet man he'd met in the kitchen not that long ago.]
She didn't have one. If you look at her name on the roster, she appears as 'Unnamed Female' in sleeper car 1:C.
[And after a moment where it might seem he had completely ignored that 'sorry', he adds quietly.]
Thank you.

I made her something..similar. But I'm more than happy to show you what you need to know.
[The unnamed female thing bothered him, so Buttercup it was. And having seen Tony so animated before, there was a definite grief in his tone now. Ignis could definitely relate at missing someone so dear to him and so he spoke in a lower tone.]
You're quite welcome. Just let me know whenever you're ready, there's no rush.

[He smiles lightly at that. He was glad to hear other people were treating the girl well. A part of him though, was a little jealous too. Buttercup had once been so clearly his fallen little bird and now she wouldn't even talk to him.
All because of hug.]
It might help get my mind off of it, if you have nothing better on your agenda.

[Ignis was prepared to wait as long as it took, not sure if Tony was ready to try this experiment out or not. But he was willing since the other seemed to want attempt it.]
Very well, I shall meet you in the kitchen.
