So... The dreams sure were a thing.

[She was at least aware that one of the dreams she had involved her mother and she still somewhat lingered on that, the feeling of dread still there. She really was in an odd place being reminded that well Gothel was going to be home before her and she was worried about what will happen.

But she soon shook her head, letting the thought out of her head for the moment before she had something she was more curious about.]

But this got me to thinking about dreams. Not... the type of dreams when one goes to sleep more the dreams one has for their future or something they really want to do. So I was wondering what dreams people have here?

[She paused as she thought it over.]

I will go first. My dream is to see the lights that I see every year on my birthday. They only appear on my birthday, so I am admittedly a little curious as to why. [She thought she could try putting a positive way of dreams, but she wasn't positive it was something that would work.]

I guess my goal - well, dream - for right now would be getting to find out whoever came up with this whole 'Voidtrecker' idea in the first place.

But back home... getting to tackle the future together with family and friends is the most specific I've got.

Both are very nice dreams. Though you really want to know who came up with this whole thing? What would you do when you find that out?

Most likely? A lot of note-comparing; if this system's been in existence for anything like as long as wizards have, we probably should have met long before crossing paths like this!

So: a long talk, probably followed by negotiating with our respective bosses.

That sounds interesting actually. Though you mentioned wizards and I have no clue what they are.

Wizards are those entrusted by the Powers That Be to use the Speech, the language in which the worlds were made, to slow down entropy, or the death of the universe.

Usually we do that by... well, by looking out for people. Redirecting natural disasters to prevent loss of life, rescuing people in danger, or just helping them in their day-to-day lives.

[Familiar-sounding stuff, no?]

But there are never enough wizards, not really, and there aren't all that many people in the worlds who take and keep the Oath in the first place.

So they are people who help others basically? But unlike others they have something they can use. There aren't enough of them where you are from. I think I understand it at least.

Though I might have gotten something wrong there, so sorry if I did.

Though it's not like we could say there's enough here, either...

There aren't enough here either? Is that a good thing or bad?

That just means we have to give it our all, because the worlds we help may not get another chance!

[Nita tries to sound more confident about the matter than she feels - which isn't too hard, admittedly, given her long practice, but it's still not as certain as she'd like.]

So it means when I get my chance I will work extra hard~

[Not that she actually knows what she could do, but doesn't stop her from being determined.]

That's uh.. that's a really good question. It was to become an Avenger which-which I kinda did, I think?

I still haven't officially met Thor. Let's go with that.

What's an Avenger?

[Admitedly she actually sounded curious about it.]

But meeting someone you haven't met before is still a nice dream. Esepcially if it's something that you are looking forward to.

Oh, right! They're-uh-We're a team of super heroes back home that like defend the Earth and stuff.

Thor's part of the Avengers and I just haven't gotten to meet him yet.

That sounds fasinating~

So did earth need defending a lot and is it big and that's why you haven't met them yet?

I mean, it needs a fair amount, I guess. More than you'd really think.

But nah, I just hadn't met him yet because I only just recently joined and Thor is actually from a different planet and was kinda what we call.. uh.. 'off world.'

So like the people here another world right? But the difference being he could actually get to your world and back to his whereas I am not sure we can go to others worlds here...

But I will also put it down to your worlds just seem to be busy quite often.

Yeah, he uses this thing called the Bifrost or something-we learned about it in physics class. Which is really weird because just seven years ago that was considered a myth.

but yeah, most worlds, I think are probably pretty busy, there's always something going on, you know?

I don't know, but I am learning at least. Maybe while I am here I can learn about many worlds.

I'm looking forward to it really.

My dream is to help Elfnein make everyone's prayers and wishes come true!

Yeah, I figured out they couldn't be stars because of that and it's odd it's only on that day too. But I have yet to actually know what they are.

[She seemed so happy just talking about it.]

Thats a lovely dream. To want to help someone and make people's wishes come true.

I hope you learn what they are? [They weren't there anymore, but one day they might go to her world, then they could solve her mystery!]

It's my job! As well as my dream. So I got to do it doubly good!

I hope so, though whiles here I probably won't.

[She sounded surprised for a moment in what she said next.]

Yes you can! I'm a shinki so I work for a god and we help answer lots of prayers and help everyone!

Shinki... If you work for a god, which god do you work for?

She's called Elfnein but she is the god Gegute. She's a god of learning so she helps people know stuff and she's really really smart!

She sounds like a god I would have liked to talk to.

She is really nice! You can talk to her though! She's here on the train!

Hmm, dreams, dreams... you know, it's funny. I wanted the same thing for so long that when I finally got it, I never thought to ask for anything else. As long as I can keep seeing more interesting things out in the world, I'm content... does that mean I don't have any?

Actually... I think wanting to keep seeing interesting things is still a dream, just a dream that can go on for a long time and that's amazing~

I suppose so, but it still would be nice to be able to say "my dream is to do this!" or "my dream is to do that!"

Now I'm getting self-conscious about it! My dream is too vague!

I don't think it is. or maybe you will come across something and you'll go 'Now that is my dream~' You just never know.
