[ Guess who's trying really hard to ignore all the more aggressive posts on here. ]

Um.. H-Hi everyone! In case anyone doesn't know yet, I'm M.. Madoka Kaname, nice to meet you.. [ Is she looking more nervous than usually though? For sure. Although that's not because of the mood of the last posts as much as she's dying internally at the thought the whole train can hear and see her right now. ]

M-Maybe some of you might remember that a while ago mister Stark suggested we could put plants around the train.. I thought it'd be a good idea s-since it'd be good for both the air and just for making things look nice, so.. E.. Evie and I volunteered to work on it! But there's only two of us, so..

[ She sucks in a deep breath. You can do it, Madoka. You almost said your piece! ]

We.. could use some help, if anyone wants to help. The boxes all need to be p-put together, and the plants need to be taken care of in the l.. long run too. So I thought maybe we could start a gardening club.. I was part of a gardening club back home at school, so if you don't know what to do, I.. I can help you! But if people already know a lot about plants, it'd be g-great if they could help too..!

Um, of course it's voluntary, but.. i-it'll be fun. I think. And you can work together with Evie too then, and she's really pretty and smart and nice..! [ And, you know, Madoka is also pretty cute. But she apparently has no compliments for herself to spare here.

Also, her face is starting to turn the same colour as her hair by now. ]

I.. I think that's all..! T-Thank you so much for listening to me and I'm sorry for taking up your time-- ouch!

[ She was bowing to end the message politely, but instead just accidentally bumped her head in the process.

I'm not a gardener in any capacity. [Only because he thinks it's boring but he'll never say it to Madoka. He might be many things but nasty to sweet children like her? Never.] On the other hand, if you need any more boxes for your plants I can make you those.

[ He truly is too sweet for this world. Or.. well, he is in his biased treatment of Madoka, anyway, but clearly that's all that matters here.

The offer seems to calm her down a bit. Enough that the girl thinly smiles. ]

Thank you, mister Fëanor, that's so nice of you.. We'll place these around the train first to see where everything would fit, but if we find out we could use more, I'll definitely ask you. Everything should look nice with all the plants, don't you think?

Indeed I do.

[And better lighting, and a few ornaments, nice stained-glass windows, a statue maybe? That's more in line with his taste for interior decor. Oh, and one thing: a lot more space. Since they're missing all of the above, especially space, plants will be perfectly fine.]

[ And for once that might be the truth. Madoka is usually so bad at asking people for help, but since Tony practically pushed her to make this message to begin with, she feels like she ought to at least take all offers of help on it very seriously. ]

.. Ah. By the way.. If it's okay to ask.. [ She's a little shy and nervous since she didn't get around to asking him earlier.. It feels a little rude on her part. ] Are you doing alright after the last mission? Nothing bad happened, right?

[Can anyone ever be more adorable? Nope. Not possible.]

Just a small accident but I'm fine. Nothing serious enough for you to worry about.

[He can't say it's completely nothing since he's parading around with his whole arm in bandages. But it would be quite criminal to make her worry.]

[ He says that as if she's not going to worry anyway! That's what Madoka does best. ]

Well.. I'm glad you're fine. [ Even if that small accident part sounds worrying. He'll be able to practically see her thinking just from the expression on her face. ] Would some cookies maybe make it even better? I made some earlier..!

[Eh...shouldn't have said anything. Now she worries.]

It's no problem! I think I made a few too many anyway..

[ And if it helps him feel better, then she's actually glad! See, she's smiling again already. Madoka is happy as long as she's helping in some way. ]

Do you have time to come to the kitchen? I left them there. [ Unless someone has already eaten them!! ]

[She always is. And it warms his heart to see her smile.]

Then I shall make haste. I think I may have serious competition for such treats.

[Cookies? Unattended? Just sitting there? Somebody needs to makes sure they won't go to waste! So now Fëanor is really curious if he's going to find any.]

[ Don't worry, she's already rushing over to the kitchen as well after he says he's going there. She can't make a poor injured man go there all by himself, after all! The rest of the messages can surely wait at least a few moments..

So by the time he enters the kitchen, he'll find Madoka already there. And she looks rather happy as she triumphantly holds a plate with cookies above her head as if she's just won the world cup. ]

Mister Fëanor, good news..! There's still cookies!

[How she managed to get to the kitchen before him is a mystery.]

That's wonderful, my dear!

[Fëanor bows before plate-wielding Madoka and only then he takes his cookie.]

[It is no small a feat to retrieve a plate of cookies on a train full of cookie-loving spider people. And cookie-loving everybody else, if he was to be really honest.

They are really good. Did you make them all on your own?

[ Maybe people were for once able to sense the feeling of danger hanging around these cookies.. The wrath that would befall anyone who'd steal a Madoka cookie.. It's the only explanation as to how there could still be some. ]

[ She beams with pride, especially at his compliment. Making cookies yourself is one thing, but making them taste good is another deal entirely. ]

I'm still not really good at making the bigger things by myself, but.. making cookies is fine now. I mostly really like decorating them! [ That'd explain why there's so much pink.. all the pink icing.. ]

[They most likely did. Though even more likely anyone even only planning committing such a heinous crime would succumb to crushing guilt long before they’d be able to act on their villainous instinct.
Or they were mortified by all that pink. It is a viable explanation though Fëanor would never suggest anything this blasphemous in Madoka’s presence. Instead he just smile.

Whatever the reason, the cookies were safe all along and that’s what is important in the end.]

I think you’re doing great with cookies. Maybe you could try baking a cake next.

[ She's made cake here before, but mostly with either Ignis or Tony's help - never all by herself. But Fëanor seems so smart and mature in Madoka's very rose-coloured view, so if he says she can do it, then she'll at least believe she can try. Clearly he wouldn't lead her astray! ]

All by myself? I.. I could try. Would you like to taste test it if I do?

Well, of course. Without a doubt.

[Fëanor nods. It's a cake not a wedding feast for one hundred people. With clearly written instructions, of course she can manage.]

You could always ask for assistance, or for someone to just be there in case you had questions.

[No helping, just supervision and moral support.]

[ His answer surprises her. But in a good way, really. The surprised expression on her face fades into a happy smile in a matter of moments, her cheeks even a little rosy. Getting that reassurance from someone who seems as cool as Fëanor just means a lot to the girl. ]

.. thank you, mister Fëanor. You're so kind. [ First complimenting her cookies, and now believing in her! Madoka's day is made. ] I usually make things together with papa, but I think it'd be nice if I could prove I can do it without him sometime..

[Fëanor doesn't exactly know what he did there. He meant what he said and now she behaves as if he praised her to high heaven. But it made her happy and that's what matters most.]

[While he does believe she's entirely capable of making things on her own some adult supervision is required when handling things like hot ovens. Consider him overly cautious but now that he encouraged her, he feels responsible for what happens too.]

[ It's a surprising offer - surely someone as important-seeming as him would have better things to do on the train rather than help her bake a cake! - but a nice offer all the same. It keeps her face all lit up as she nods at him. ]
