Hello everyone! Yuffie here with the best announcement all month!

I am creating the Black Team and I am it's team leader. If anyone wants to be awesome like me and be on the Black Team let me know!

I'm on Purple and -

I guess that is a more suitable color for me than black.

You seem like a purple.

[She winks at him.]

I've only worn white and blue before. Oh and...beige and brown once. {The Wen sect liked their red, but he was little when they were massacred.}

It stands for divinity and immortality where I'm from. Black is... {Much less happy. So he smiles at her compliment, bowing his head.}

That's about the same for me actually, except also some green. It depends on where I am. For a few years I spent all my time traveling between forests and it was smarter to blend in with all the monsters around.

[Not that Yuffie often blended in.]

Those meanings sound pretty cool. What about red and orange? Those are the other colors here right?

The uniform for the Lan disciples makes us stand out. We don't want to blend in; we want the monsters to target us instead of terrorizing innocent people.

{Her story is interesting, however.}

Red is used for marriages and orange represents good luck.

That make sense. I'd probably do the same in that situation.

[Every situation is different and no matter how Yuffie acts, the people she's sworn to protect are the most important to her.]

Maybe. Wutai needed help and I decided that I was going to save it.

[She'd do anything for her country and her people.]

Oh? That sounds cool. It also sounds similar to Wutai. Brides wear red when they are married. I have heard of some people in Midgar wearing white but that makes no sense to me.

{She is brave. Sizhui smiles with open warmth; how can he dislike anyone that cares so deeply for others?}

Wutai is your home? I would do anything for my current home too. I lost my first home when I was four, so now that I am strong enough to keep that from happening again, I will.

{He looks confused at the idea of wearing...white. That is usually for mourning.}

That doesn't make sense to me either. Red is such a passionate color.

Yeah. [Her smile widens when she talks about her home.] Wutai is the best country on Gaia. It's filled with warriors and amazing people. I'll do anything for my people.

[She laughs.]

Yeah? Well, people like to imply things with color and everything else. It's just the person talking the loudest that gets herd. So red is red.

[Her usual happy grin falters and she turns more serious.]

Not that I'm interested in talking about it but I was born during a war. I watched a lot of people get hurt and die while fighting to protect the things they cared about. The home I was born into was lost and I can't bring any of those people back but I want to rebuild that home and turn it into the wonderful place it is. Where people are safe and feel safe. I think that's important. Wherever we make our homes. Don't you?

[After his conversation with Yuffie, Tony seeks out the young man who he overheard also talking to Yuffie about the black team. He finds him in the garden and gives the kid a small smile as he approaches.]

Sizhui, you're not going to try and join this black team, are you?

{He recognizes Tony and so returns the smile curiously. There is one red flower and one blue flower in his lap - a present he means to give to Wei Wuxian later.}

Oh no. I was just...worried. I'm not sure what will happen to her or anyone else who tries to form a team of their own.

[Tony slows as he's greeted so positively. He looks at the flowers, unsure how he got them but that wasn't important right now.]

We're going to protect her from herself, just like we do everyone else here. She's young and this place can bring out the worst in people till they get used to it. Are you friends with her?

{The flowers aren't real. He has craftily used fabric to sew them together. These will last longer and they stand for his fathers.}

I just met her. {Sizhui wishes he knew her better.} She seems kind. I don't think she is doing anything maliciously.

[That earns a more genuine smile from the older man. He puts his hand lightly on the kid's shoulder.]

I know, it's okay.

[He let go of Sizhui's shoulder.]

I was hoping to ask you a favor though since she responded so well to you. Would you keep an eye out for her? If she gets herself in over her head and you happen to see it, will you let me know? I'll come help even if she isn't happy about it.

{His brow furrows and he nods slowly. It worries him that someone like Tony is concerned too.}

I don't mind. She reminds me a little of the disciples from other sects when they first start out.

{And they follow him like happy ducklings thanks to his dependable guidance and friendship.}

It's okay for her to stumble some and learn from it, but I don't want it to hurt her too much.

It is. And everyone has to make their peace with this place until I can find a way to send people home. If you find a chance to tell her about our last mission it might help her too to see what kind of work we're doing here. You've been through it and I'm sure you saw the dangers that were possible.

She might learn more going through one herself. {But if he sees her doing something rash, he will quickly inform her. Or try to stop her himself.}

I will let you know if I see more to worry about; I think, right now, she wants a place to call her own.
