[ Seto is in the library, downstairs with the colorful posters and the cutesy model train carrying books in the background. He's holding his notebook, squinting at it briefly before he speaks. ]

...good evening. It's been a while since I've made noise publicly, so. I'm Seto Kaiba from Orange, if we haven't met. I'm usually working on game design in the games car or tech in the lab. I'll work with you on those things, but that's not what I'm here about.

So I recently bought some books for our library that I've spent the last day reading, and I wanted to point out their contents---in this case, it's all theories on the spiritual side of void travel. That's not my area, so someone more attuned with that would probably be better at interpreting the text than I am. But here's what I could glean:

The first book was about a history of void worship in void-active worlds. The people who get prophetic dreams developed whole religions around them. The second was about our void-selves being souls, and asked a bunch of questions about the implications of that, but no answers. Annoying.

But it was the last book that interested me the most. It was from a group of void travelers who work with the Ministry, but disagree with their philosophy. I was reminded of Captain Halo, for those of you who remember her. For those who don't, she was the captain of a crashed voidcraft a few of us met on a mission planet a while ago. She died when her craft did, because she was tethered to it, but she had a clear mission: to save the 'weird' beauty of the void.

Anyway, the travelers crafted their stories into a really wordy narrative that took me a while to digest. They claim void travel is possible even at the basic level because souls call out to each other. People who didn't set out to become heroes ended up being pulled to worlds in crisis. And there's a brief aside on lost souls, with a clear belief that they can always find their way to where they belong. As much as I'd love to be skeptical...I hope they're right.

That's what I have. They're in the library now if you want to read them yourself, but I know it's a lot to take in if you're newer. There's still so much we don't know, but we're working on it. And I can take a crack at answering questions if you have any.
