salutosinedelectat[ The video starts as Aziraphale pulls his hands away from the screen. He is sat at the small table in one of the sleeper cabins, a pair of round glasses perched on his nose.
He spends a good handful of seconds looking at it with a rather uncertain expression, even starts to reach over again, before he perks up and seems to realize that it is indeed filming. He sits up very straight, clears his throat, and offers a polite smile.]
Ah, here we are. I do hope I've gotten it right this time.
[ Ahem.]
Hello. For those that may not know me, I am Aziraphale, and I have a few questions for my fellow passengers.
[ He picks up a journal, seemingly one of those offered to passengers at the beginning of the month, and leafs through it as he speaks.]
In these past few weeks, I've been gathering some information about the Voidtrain and the Void. While the library is somewhat limited, there do seem to at least be some publications and articles that do fill us in on the history and origin of what exactly it is meant to do.
I do suspect that most of it are things we already know of, such as the existence of the void and void-active and inactive systems, the existence of a Ministry whose mission seems to be to keep an eye on such things.
But there are still many questions. Such as: where exactly did the train we currently travel in come from? Which system? And who took it? Indeed, there's far too much we aren't made aware of.
[ He sets the journal down and picks up a book, holding it up to the camera: The History of the Void Ministry.]
Through some attempts, I was able to get my hands in this book, which explains the origins and mission of the Ministry itself.
[ He turns the book to look at the cover.]
I do believe if we are suspected to be either accomplices or victims of this, well, train, we should at least know what exactly we're being accused of.
There is still, of course, the matter of the missing crew, and the possible implications that they were the ones to...breathe life into this craft, as it were.
[ He flattens his lips, looking vaguely disturbed for a moment.]
A somewhat uncomfortable thought.
[ He pauses. Then he sets the book down.]
I'm willing to share my notes with whoever might be interested. However, if I've missed anything, whether recent or from before I've found myself here, I ask that you do let me know.
I do think that's all for now. Cheers.
