Morning: Day 17 - Audio from the Kitchen
Let's play a game, because I'm bored.
[ This voice comes with music playing in the background. Nothing too exciting. Just some MISSIO. And there might be a faint tapping sound, rhythmic and following the beat of the song. Gwen has a couple of the pans from the kitchen upside down, for anyone in the kitchen with her, and she's drumming along. ]
The game we're going to play is called Two Truths and a Lie. And the rules are just that.
Tell two truths, one lie. People have to guess which is which and you tell them if they're right or not.
I'll start.
1: Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby is my favorite kind of ice cream.
2: I love my brothers.
3: I don't like cats.
[ More drumming, and a bit of singing along as she plays. ]

I was turned against my will in 1349. If you know your history, you’ll understand what I was dying of beforehand. I suppose my sire believed in recycling.

Sunlight, yes, unless precautions are taken. Crosses and holy water, no. I was still very religious when I was first turned and attended mass whenever I could to assuage my guilt. That didn’t last long. I think I ate some nuns.
The vampire curse is very old, you see, and predates most extant human religions.

There’s a lot about vampires that humans don’t know.
If you look in the refrigerator in the galley, you will find several IV bags full of blood. They are regularly restocked by the powers that be. I suppose that it’s easier for them to keep me fed this way rather than risk me attacking the other people on the train.
Which I won’t, by the way. I’ve given that up. I don’t kill anymore.
