Morning: Day 17 - Audio from the Kitchen

Let's play a game, because I'm bored.

[ This voice comes with music playing in the background. Nothing too exciting. Just some MISSIO. And there might be a faint tapping sound, rhythmic and following the beat of the song. Gwen has a couple of the pans from the kitchen upside down, for anyone in the kitchen with her, and she's drumming along. ]

The game we're going to play is called Two Truths and a Lie. And the rules are just that.

Tell two truths, one lie. People have to guess which is which and you tell them if they're right or not.


I'll start.

1: Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby is my favorite kind of ice cream.
2: I love my brothers.
3: I don't like cats.

[ More drumming, and a bit of singing along as she plays. ]

[That last part had a goofy, sort of Southern accent. Don't ask, it gets boring around here sometimes.]

[ Is there a tone in her voice that suggests she's lying even then? Yep.

Mr Stark has it almost right. She's not afraid of much. Just mother. ]

Those don't count. No sane person likes things that sting them. The idea of bees and wanting them to go do their honey thing away from you is one thing, but glad that they are swarming your head? Not so much.

[He chuckles]

There are people who react better than I do to them, able to keep their composure and all. I cannot.

I'm in a great mood. I've made a couple new friends already.

There's a new person named Tobias. We met after picking up passengers in the makeshift library. He's currently a hawk, I'll let him explain, and he needed help turning pages.

And, obviously, Rapunzel. She's delightful.

Huh, so now we have two Tobiases. Or should I say Tobia for plural like syllabus and syllabi?

[He hadn't noticed the hawk. At least it's not a person made of hawk wings..]

I have met Rapunzel. You're right, she's cute. Do you have the show the Simpsons in your world? If she died it blue and wrapped it in a beehive style, she'd be Marge.

Bald, quiet, no sense of humor. He's on the red team. He was making some of the garden boxes so whenever you and Mady get around to doing your garden club thing, you'll want to find him.
