[Yup, it is. Video proof and everything. And who could possibly be mistaken for the massive Roegadyn?]

I'd like to know who here has combat training, and who would like it. Given that our missions often tend to involve self-defense at a minimum, so far, we should plan to train. Also, I'd like to know if we have any gaps to be filled in our teams so we can make preparations.

I'm already offering some classes in pugilism and martial arts, I'd be glad to expand those.

The way things have been going, they may need to learn.

I hope not, but hoping has no bearing on the outcome.

We'll teach anybody to fight who wants to learn. And maybe those who are less eager to learn will be persuaded to give it a try. I certainly will give encouragement to anybody at all who is willing to pick up a weapon and start learning the arts of war.

True. We must have hope, because otherwise there is no success. But I agree, the hopes of our hearts do not chance what is. And it can only change what will be if hopes are transformed into actions.

The ones who don't want to, we need to prepare for in other ways. They don't have to fight to know how to safely protect themselves and not get caught in a fight.

[Dread heaves a sigh, muttering to himself.] I don't know how anyone does it sometimes.

True. Those who have no affinity for the warlike arts should learn how to get behind the ones who are fighting. And how to take shelter in all kinds of environments. And how to run like hell, and how to hide successfully.

[ Curufin looks a little concerned about Dread. ] Something is worrying you?

Missing the friends I have who are much better at this sort of thing than I am.

[Raubahn, mostly. He has to admit the Scions are, since Minfilia's loss, universally crap at leadership roles.]

I see. It can be sad to think of friends who are not with us because they didn't come with us to the VoidTrecker.

[ Or who are dead in their own worlds and didn't come back to life on the platform. ]

Especially if they have skills that are needed here.
