As for your other question... That is not an easy one to answer. [Because it will probably turn into a melancholy bit of rumination on the human condition on Rezo's part, and the Doctor probably doesn't have time for that.]

The moon takes twenty-eight days to work through the cycle and supposedly, the rays of the full moon is what triggers the transformation.

Oh, it's a dragon, definitely. Not just the appearance. Those are my qi candies, they do something weird in the void because of course the void messes with things, it likes messing with reality. Or spiritual stability? Whatever, it'll pass.

If your friend wants to learn to fly, though, I'm in the pool room using the air over the pool right now. Kind of open, no one else is in here, so it's a good place to hang, and there's plenty of towels around for when they change back!

( in person, he's a dragon clearly as long as the carriage, but also winding himself in repeating patterns overhead to grant room for anyone not to tall to walk around under. he's hovering in a sort of gourdian knot of dragon over the far end of the pool, canting his head and flicking his whiskers in return greeting, eyes amber and glittering with curiosity. here's another person at ease with the transformation in their own way.

Not really, that one seems to be more Void weirdness. None of us have any particular obsession with shiny things.

Dragon souled? In the cultivation sects. Comes up from mortals too, you never know who'll be born dragon souled, though it does pass from parents like us to their children for the most part. Unless you mean the shiny thing, then no, that's just for the people here.

How do you make yourself feel special?

Can't say I've swimmed in this form but I would imagine based on physics and body form, that I would swish my body in a sort-of go with the curvature of my spine, that ends with squishing my tail?

I would suspect that the effect that caused your friend to turn into a dragon is temporary. Very little here causes permanent changes so as long your friend doesn't repeat the action that caused them to change, they should be fine in some time.

Mostly passenger inflicted damage. Of course we have means to heal it. Not even death is permanent here. Most effects and spells seem reverse themselves. If it does not on its own, a passenger might know the answer or the train can provide.

Doesn't matter dying and coming back isn't - isn't something most can handle.

I agree. That is not usually something people have to deal with so they are no equipped to process. I would not know how to handle my own death and returning, but I have known of the death of another and seen him return.
