[Kairi ha made sure that the star of the show the good old star shaped fruit was sitting in front of her as she smiled widely.]

I know we have had quite a bit going on and some good things happening too, but I wanted to try a little something if people are interested.

[She soon moved to hold up the star shaped fruit. Yellow in color.]

This is called a Paopu fruit. Now back home the fruit here has special meaning or at least a legend about it. I have brought this on board before so for those who were here before might be aware of what they are, but for those who don't the legend is simple. If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. It basically means no matter how far apart you are you will still always be apart of each others lives in someway.

At least that is what the legend says anyway. So I figured I would try and see if others might want to share or might have questions they want to ask. I like to think there are people who want to be connected to matter what after all.

Hmm... do you think it would work if three people share it? Or should each two of the three share one...

I believe I was asked this before and my thought was you would think with the way it was shaped you could share it between three or more, but I could also go with using more than one between the three could also work really... Because how would a fruit know?

[It's a legend but she understood it had areas that could be filled in really.]

I know flowers which change color depending on the mood of those nearby - it might be surprisingly much, what a fruit could know, I suppose.

It's fine, last time was a while back also so not a lot of people would know anyway.

How was a flower able to tell who was nearby though and did it change multiple times if many people were close with different moods?

Ah! Rather fascinating, really. It would react to Dynamis, a... force in nature dependent on emotions alone. It would not matter who it is near them, I believe, only that the emotions be prevalent.

[ There were, of course, complications with that, but not the flower. The flower was beauty without strings attached, other than how strange it was to them who could not interact with Dynamis directly. ]

I see. That sounds like a very beautiful plant. If I was able to someday, I would have loved to see it.

[She could only imagine what it might look like and it was enough to make her smile.]

[You get a very dour looking man staring right back at the camera with a cigarette half dangling out of his mouth, Kairi.]

Sounds fake, but okay.

[Really he never liked to believe in such frivolous things. That luck and wishes are what you made of them. But... Well, here he was responding to this message.

Perhaps he was more interested than he let on.]

A lot of legends do have a hint of truth within though how else were legends made? We just don't know where it originally came from.

[She is a optimistic person.]

Could be that it stemmed from truth, or could be that it was formed to cheer someone up in a situation that dealt with loss in some form. Legends have just as much chance to stem from rumors as they do to stem from truths.

[Optimist meet pessimist.]

Never thought to research it I take it? Doesn't that show how little it's about the legend and how much it is that you just want to believe it's real?

That we may never know, but with your example the odds are someone would have tried it and it worked. Why else would such a legend then keep going on? The legends states always being in each others lives even if apart which means people come back together at various points.

It could just be a fluke potentially, but it could also be too much a coincidence depending on factors.

Considering the way my life is and how I always somehow end up back to a friend who is always who knows how far away most of the time these days and I barely know where I think it's very unlikely that it's a I want to believe when those possibilities are actually possible.

[And that was even with not eating the fruit.]

That's quite the legend.

[Rezo's first thought, naturally, is of Lioriley, because this sounds like the sort of thing she'd appreciate. He's a little hesitant to immediately go "hey can I have one for my girlfriend" though, so he first asks:]

I honestly don't know, but it must have come from somewhere.

[She just didn't know the history of said story, but she liked it none the less and it was sweet.]

I do always wonder though.

Perhaps the legend is old enough that the origins have been forgotten. Such things are common.

...My next question would be on how you eat it. [Do you need to peel it or what? This might be easier to guess if he could see it but unfortunately, blindy mc blind person.]

That is always possible.

As for ho to eat it. There is no prep that I know of, you just take a bite.

[Her phrasing- "no prep that I know of"- is interesting.]

[He realizes, then, that "hey, have you ever shared the romantic sounding allegedly magic destiny bonding fruit with someone" might be a bit embarrassing to answer, and amends:]

I have not. I have been planning too though.

[Part of why she actually got them this time really. This was also how she was planning on eating it in the first place.]

I didn't think it was that personal honestly, so I didn't take any offense.

[Aaaand he can't really keep beating around the bush so.]

I would be interested in trying some of your fruit myself. Although I'm afraid I have little to compensate you with, unless you like stickers.

[Because he still has most of a roll of star shaped stickers, if Kairi's interested.]

I wasn't expecting anything in return I was planning on just giving them out.

[After all she had meaning behind what she did and she never expected compensation for doing such a thing in return.]

I'll take one. I never much believed in destiny, but it'll still be one more thing that ties me and Usagi together.

While some people might not believe in destiny, I know I do. But that's a me thing and the fact that I always end up finding my friends even though we are never in the same place for periods of time.

[ Don't mind this loud, distressed teen overreacting to a silly idea. ]

Oh woe! Were Master Malleus here or the fruit back home! I would share it with him so that I may be able to serve him through the ties of destiny as well!

[ Seriously. Don't pay him much mind. He's just like this. ]

[Kairi at least understands the word Master. Though what Master means in her world is probably different in some regards.]

Maybe some day if we are ever able to get people back home maybe you can.

[ It's a different meaning between the two. Sebek serves the crown prince, though he is highly prolific with magic. ]

It is not a matter of if but when. I will not remain on this train forever when Master Malleus is not present! However, I do not think such a fruit grows in Twisted Wonderland.

I think the fruit only grows on my world as far as I am aware.

[And when they are able to get people home it makes her wonder if they can still be in contact if she she would be that type of take the fruit between them all. Though considering where she is from they are able to get from world to world she likes to think it's possible.]

And therein lies the problem.

[ If only he had more classes in the greenhouse and alchemy, then maybe he could come up with a better solution. Sebek didn't get to stay long in Night Raven College before being taken here. ]

Have you any success with bringing the fruit to seed and growing saplings from them?

I didn't think about doing that, but I will at least keep seeds on the train for people to take if they want.

It could make a fine, if not somewhat more involved, parting gift for your friends when we're able to return to our own lands.

[ Because Sebek knows they will return. There is no other option for him. ]

I mean I know I will never be apart. Physically yes, but in our hearts we are always connected.

But it would make a nice parting gift if there worlds can actually grow them.

[She hasn't properly spoken to Kairi before, so it felt that ]

...How many of these do you have? 'Cause I'd like one.

Even if it turns out just to be a story, it'd...mean something to share it with someone, I think.

I brought ten, but since they are fruit I am able to summon 10 at least every week.

[She hasn't fully tested it out of the Paopu fruit.]

Plus even if it turns out to be wrong just means you've tried something new too. I'll be happy to deliver one to you.

I have some and I'm able to summon a certain amount every so often.
