Alright folks, listen up. In case you haven't noticed already, we've got a new car: a dance studio. It's awesome, and I'm thanking everyone who voted for it here and now. Problem is, there are good odds there are more than a few people on the train who couldn't dance to save their lives. If you're one of those people, or just want to learn, stop by the Dance Car and I'll give you lessons in whatever style you want, free of charge. Hope to see ya there.

Yep, whatever I feel like I know well enough to teach. Name's Kyoko, nice to have ya.

[Kyoko looks at the weights strangely.]

Poi? Ain't that some kind of Hawaiian food?

[crowneddragon]

"Hawaaiian?"

[He lingers a bit oddly on the word, clearly unused to how it rolls off his tongue. A single eyebrow is raised curiously.]

"Not-- that I know? It's these!"

[At this, he shows the poi that have been left for easy reach within the small cubicles, along with the tap dance shoes and the ballet shoes which he's never seen before. He prods at these a bit, but leaves them well enough alone, at least once he checks to see that Kyoko is not wearing them herself.]

[A pair of poi gets pulled down-- orange, because why not-- and he is quick to set them on his hand and twist them lightly in quick motions.]

"When I do shows, I spin these, but they're set on fire. Practice poi 're just sand though. It's a pity~"

[He grins at this, quite obviously not minding the idea of twirling fire about when he's dancing.]

[Kyoko's staring at the poi briefly takes on a concerned tinge, but it clears almost as soon as it arrives.]

Well, it may not be Hawaiian, but it does sound pretty close to firedancing.

"Yes! Exactly!"

[Excitement brightens his eyes, gleaming as he swirls the poi around him before stopping them in an easy stall.]

"It's from Hawaiia where you're from?"

[It's a bit odd to the half-elf to think of a dance as from somewhere specifically, rather than it being from a particular entertainment troupe. He'd seen so many that shared skills between them at festivals; he himself had gathered a handful of easy skills. Juggling, some balance beam tricks and the likes.]

"Kara's family used to say they were descendin' from fire elementals. They're the ones that taught me."

[A pause interrupts him, lips pulling into a wide, sunshine-smile.]

"How 'bout you? Where'd you learn? Which dances d'd you learn?"

[He might not recognize the names, but he's always interested in learning.]
