[It's late at night. Not quite the early morning but certainly later than you would normally see Romeo around.

The video turns on into the kitchen, Romeo is a little bit away from the ICP, stirring something in a bowl but he glances over, as if to check that the ICP is recording.]

Um hello everyone. I hope I don't wake anyone up with talking so late but I was in bed and thinking really really hard about some things and my mind wouldn't go to sleep so I came to bake cookies but I'm still thinking and sometimes when you got lots of big questions in your head it's a good idea to talk about it.

[He gets closer, bowl in hand as he keeps mixing.]

I was thinking about Osiga and all the people we saved but also how we left all their bodies and I guess that's okay because we brought the bit that was properly them into the void.

But then I was thinking about what made a person a person because it's really confusing. Because some of the people didn't want to come into the void at all. Because without a world or a body then... that's bad for them I guess but I know lots of people without bodies or worlds and they are all people.

So I read a book that said a person was a person because of all their memories and experiences, that it's what we do and see and know that make us... us. But I knew I was Romeo even when I didn't have any memories at all. When everything was nothing I was still Romeo.

But then I wondered if I was. Because there's people here who look the same as each other and they are different people because they... had different lives I guess so am I the same Romeo as I was when I was alive? Because I don't remember any of that and all the things I did and my friends I made since then have made me me. But did that mean I wasn't really a person when I had no body and no memories?

It's really tricky to think about and I'm worried about all the people we rescued and if they are sad or scared about it because I guess it's different. If you have to live in the void 'cause your world was eaten then if you got snatched in the void but maybe can go home.

And that's different again then not knowing where you come from at all because I guess you can't really miss or be sad about somewhere that you don't even know about.

[Big Questions indeed. He sighed.] It's just really big. So I'm making cookies. If anyone is still awake they can come and get them, they'll be ready once they've been in the oven.

Um I mean they are back where you came from I guess. Sleeping. Did you stay on the train when some people went home?

"Even I wouldn't sleep through that many meals!" [She said, startled. She still was surprised she slept through a whole meal after her experience with the Dragon's Eye.] "I tried to go home... but... it didn't work. I couldn't find... anyone..."

You tried? [That was worrying, he frowned.]

Um well where I used to live people would sometimes sleep for a very long time. A week or even more! When they woke up they were just normal even if they hadn't eaten or anything. So I think it might be a bit like that.

"I don't sleep like that, though. And..." [She pinched herself. Winced. Considered. Bit down on the staff part of Goligan. He pulled free and jumped up, smashing her on the head with an angry exclamation. She fell out of frame for a moment then pulled herself back up.] "Sure feels like we're actually here," [she mumbled, trying to stay upright.]

It's not you that makes it happen it's something about here... [He frowned as she pinched herself and hit herself on the head... That's not good.]

Um... Are you okay?

"Well, you're supposed to not hurt in a dream, right?"

"Well I don't think it's really a dream."

He frowned. "It's more than a dream."

He doesn't really fully understand. But it wasn't just a dream because it was more complicated than that.

"But... you said we're asleep and not really here... so that means dream, right?"

"I didn't say we weren't really here. I think our souls are here. They aren't in our bodies anymore."

Not that his had been even before coming to the train.

"But.... that's not possible, I mean... it sure feels like my body... and how would that even work, anyway?" A frown. "I mean when Kigi.... her soul went into the Willow... but her body was just... dead. She was dead." A hard swallow.

"I don't know." He frowned. "Was Kigi your friend? I'm sorry she's dead..."

He didn't really have any answers. "I've always felt like this but I never really had a body in the heavens either and I can't remember being alive. So I don't know if its different."

"Yeah. I miss her."

She took a breath, then tried to focus on the here and now.

"In the skies...?"

"Yes. It's a bit of the sky where gods live and it's connected to the world where humans live."

That was the easiest way to explain it.

"You... lived... with Culdra?" she asked, gaping in shock.

"Um... What's Culdra?"

He doesn't know all the words from her world!

"The Goddess... Culdra."

"Oh! Is that a goddess you know? Maybe she did live in the heavens I was in but she might have been in the heavens in your world instead."

It was a bit complicated. "I never met a goddess called that but I didn't know everyone! There was lots of gods and goddesses."

She nodded. "So long as there wasn't Baltheus you were probably safe."

"I don't think I ever met anyone called that either."

He smiled at her. "Where they gods in your world?"

"Uh huh. My Master made me memorize all the gods and what their responsibilities are."

"Oh wow!" He grinned at her. "You must be really smart if you can remember all of that!"

"Really? You think so?" he asked, perking up.

"she is not," Goligan said dryly. "She never applies herself."

"Yes..." He frowned at the stick. "That's not a nice thing to say!"

She seemed like she was very smart!

"It may not be nice, but it is certainly true."

She pouted.

"It's still not very nice." He pointed out with another pout. "I bet she works really hard, right?"

This he asked her. Best to not to talk about her.
