Alright, is it possible for a SCA to glitch out? Mine's been beeping on and off lately for no reason, and I'm not techy enough to know why it's doing this.

[The SCA continues to beep away. It isn't stopping.]

(OOC: The SCA isn't broken, Masumi's just mildly allergic to pineapple and doesn't realize it.)

[Ah. Here's that grumpy-looking guy staring right back at you on the screen. His eyebrow perks up slightly as he places his pinky finger into his ear with agitation.

Why are you sharing that noise with everyone else on the train???]

Isn't that thing supposed only to go off when your life is in danger?

[That's what he's been told about it, at least.]

Shouldn't you find a health professional rather than rant about it over video?

My life isn't in danger though, that's the problem. There's no reason for it to be doing this.

[She frowns at the still beeping SCA, apparently just as annoyed about it as Genjo.]

I mean. Whether it's broken or an actual health issue, you'd think you should probably find someone regardless?

It seems risky to sit around and complain about it.

[He's already been suffering from headaches all week. This noise isn't helping.]

[...Now that the question's been asked, Masumi is starting to realize that there is a pattern to when it goes off.]

...It tends to go off in the kitchen and dining. Actually, it didn't go off at all during the mission, so I thought it had sorted itself out.

[Another moment, as she continues to think about what in those specific cars could make her SCA go off.]

...I'm not doing anything dangerous in those carriages, and I don't have any allergies that I know of. [She almost got it there, but the point has gone right over her head. After all, she would know by now if she had an allergy, right?]

Lady, I'm going to be blunt, I think you might be a tad bit allergic to that fruit you're eating. Not enough to cause any real problems, but damn well enough to upset your SCA.

I'm what? [Masumi looks at the pineapple, looks at the still beeping SCA, and decides to test this out.

Anyone who's watching this will see her get up with the plate, then walk over to one of the tables and put it down there. She then returns to the ICP.]

Okay, let's see if that does any- [Masumi stops talking as she realizes that her SCA has finally stopped beeping. She's just going to stare in shock at the device, wondering how she never noticed a whole allergy until now.]

Yeah, that's what's doing it alright. Can't really say if this is the kind of allergy that gets worse if you don't avoid it, but it definitely is the kind of headache that does.

[Masumi's now staring off at the plate of pineapple as if considering the risk of just eating it anyways, but thankfully she doesn't do that.]

Darn it, and I liked pineapple. It's spicy. [Masumi, no. It's not spicy, that's the allergy talking.]

[Nia just blinks for a moment.]

Yeah, it's not supposed to be.

...Ah. [It's all she can come up with. In retrospect, it makes sense; that 'spice' is more likely her mouth itching from the allergy. But to be told that she's allergic to pineapples and they aren't actually spicy is certainly something she didn't expect.]

...I suppose I'm lucky it isn't worse, huh?
