Good morning. My name is Jiang Wanyin, for those of you who don't know me.

[ The words are quiet, practiced; clearly he's used to introducing himself to people these days. People who do know him, however, will notice this is not the name on the roster, where his personal name is present. All the same, he continues, voice quiet. ]

I know not many people here come from worlds where martial fighting is the norm. I am willing to introduce people to sword fighting and the use of weapons if anyone has an interest, or to practice with anyone who already has experience.

[ Mostly because he actually misses teaching and leading, not because he necessarily cares. ]

It was called fencing. More a thrusting motion than I have seen from others. It's the only way to technically score a hit with fencing.

I've never heard of swordfighting like that. [ He pauses, thoughtful. ] My technique is not like that.

It's called fencing. I'm sure it was invented by aristocrats who wanted to act like they were sword fighting. I did actually use it in a real fight once.

I didn't think it would. Your method seems more effective.
