Um.. hi, everyone!

[ Madoka is smiling on the screen, though it's definitely a faint smile. A smile with something awkward around its edges, like the girl is trying really hard to smile, even though it's difficult. ]

I hope everyone has seen the art car already.. I turned my points into votes so we could get it as soon as possible, and it seems like it really worked. [ Thank god for the train actually following up on its promises. ] The carriage is really nice, so.. please make sure to check it out. Even if you don't think you like art, it can be a good way to.. um, to just.. release your feelings a little, I guess.

[ And that's something a lot of people could maybe use right now, she thinks. ]

And.. there's something else too. Maybe some other people got messages from the Ministry too, but I also got one, right around the end of the mission.. It said..

[ ...

Madoka suddenly grows quiet. ]

.. It said my world is gone, just like I thought. I.. um. [ She bites her lip, obviously having more trouble speaking. ] I just thought I'd share that information. Because.. I think it's important to keep remembering that a lot could be happening back home while we're stuck here, s-so.. it'd be really nice if the people who want to go home could go home soon, and make sure their worlds are okay.

[ There's another pause, and then the girl sucks in a breath, shaking her head before quickly adding: ]

D-Don't worry about me, by the way! They said that they.. they'll try to see if my world can be restored somehow, s-so.. um, I'm sure it'll be okay! [ Look at her suddenly talking so much more quickly, like she wants to get saying this out of the way as soon as possible. ] A-Anyway, please enjoy the art carriage..!

[ Not that she doesn't get why Lea is asking. It's just him being super thoughtful with all of this, and Madoka greatly appreciates it - even though, at the same time, she kind of feels like she doesn't deserve that much effort being put in for her.

But she doesn't complain. She just nods. ]

I'd like to drink together.. I could show you around the art car too. [ Since that's basically the one nice and hopeful thing in this entire situation. ]

[Yeah, inviting yourself along was mildly rude under most circumstances, but could be especially intrusive when the person you were joining had just had bad news. Sometimes people wanted some time to themselves at times like that.]

I'd like that. I've been wanting one for awhile now, but wasn't expecting we'd get one so quick.

Anyway, I'll join you there once the food and everything is ready.

[ See, Lea, that's the magic of having saved up way too many points for way too long! You can just throw them into the art carriage all at once, and then poof, it's there!

Madoka just smiles thinly though. ]

Thank you. [ For all the work he's putting into making the drinks and all - and for the effort he's putting into cheering her up.

It means a lot to her. ]

[He ends the feed there, but indeed, it's not too long until he arrives in the art car bearing a tray. On it is a plate of several savory corned-beef pasties- tasty, filling, and easy to eat either sitting or walking around-, some napkins, and two mugs, one of tea, one of hot cocoa.]

Hey, Madoka. Lea's special meal delivery, as promised.

[ Madoka already answers him before she even fully turns to look at him - though she does end up doing so a moment later, once she's properly put down the colouring pencils she was using to make a drawing.

Her entire upper body turns to see the spread of food and drinks he's managed to make. It's not too surprising, since Lea seemed caring enough to make something like this, but.. it's sweet enough all the same that Madoka smiles, even though it's sad at the edges. ]

Wow, that looks really good..

[Lea knows that kind of smile, but at least it's there. He sets the tray down on a convenient clear space on the table and pulls up a chair near Madoka so they can eat and talk if they want.]

Yeah. They're nothing fancy, but they're tasty. And I figured that something that doesn't take a whole lot of effort to eat was probably best.
