Here's my problem, alright?
You recruit us and we have no say in the matter. That's a huge sticking point for me and I'm not alone in that. It irritates me to no end.
I'm willing to forgive you for that, reasoning aside, like I would any human that wronged me.
But we need to work together. This needs to be a partnership. So I'm willing to help you, but at the end of all this all I ask is that you make this optional. Not everyone wants to go home, but those who want to go deserve the option.
Now then. There are a few key problems. We don't understand all of your problems and working blindly in the dark isn't going to help. We haven't been trained in void travel, and the safety precautions other people get, we don't have.
You want to keep us safe. I believe that.
So, if you can agree to working with us, instead of merely holding us hostage, I would request more materials placed in the library. I would like some books in regards to void travel, void sickness and what the laws are around it. We need to know exactly what dangers are facing us, to protect ourselves and you.

Here are a couple of things we know.
You are a fugitive train and believe the Ministry will destroy you if caught, and that we will be punished for being your passengers.
You had a previous crew that you cared about and wanted to protect but you lost them.
You want us to find them and save them. If we can save them.

Find them.
[And then it fades]

How are we supposed to find them?
We don't know very much about them, or what we're looking for. It would probably help you if we had a better idea of of what kind of clues to look for.
Could you tell us more about them? Maybe what they were like? Do you keep a file on them?

I suspect you're scared for them. I suspect you've been rather scared this week weren't you?
What with losing this crew and all.
Absconded from on board by an entity who wanted to play house with unwilling victims. Bet that didn't thrill you. You could have had two crews you needed to find.
You had no control of our entry onto that mission. That's dangerous, for you and for us. Is that what happened to your last crew? Stolen right under your nose?

Were they dropped into the void?
I want to work with you, and probably to your pleasure, a lot of people do. More than I would have expected.
You're aware of Anan now, aren't you. You let her contact us on our return. Are you fine with her being an ally?

[ Which is why he's here and Tidus isn't screaming at the screen. Senku has a near-infinite well of patience. ]
We, your current crew, have no control over where we go. You have control. You haven't brought us to them, so I suspect you might not know where they are.
Anan's crew however, does have some control over where they go. More information might help us if we reach out to them. She's already promised to work with us, and not contact the Ministry.
She also says you can't lie to me. I'm not sure about that, but we'll see. If you have free will, I do believe you probably can lie, that's part of morality theories I won't bore you with.
I need you to help me understand your problem fully to begin to solve it. So far, I'll admit what crumbs we've gotten are leaving us all adrift. It's not just me. None of us want to hurt you.
I remember it's difficult for you to communicate with us. Would it be easier if we set something up in the engine car? If you let me in to talk I wouldn't bring anything that could cause damage you, or take you apart, or anything else I've ruminated on. I'd just bring my laptop. That's another thing I could do. I could hook up my laptop, would it be easier for you to talk through a medium like that?
I, and everyone, are asking you to give us a hand here. Help us, help you.

That's what you want too, isn't it?
I've given you alternate ways of getting information to us. I need you to work with us here. I know you can make things appear on the train.
You're really setting up a case against you, you know, with your silence.
