Thank you.

First on the matter of voidspace. Since applications exist to resist its influence, it must be studied to some extent. The video footage of your former crew even suggests such. The capacity to work with it... or with its presence. I seek knowledge on how to further my understanding while at the same time not bringing risk to my fellow passengers.

On the matter of tethers, I'd like to first say I'm not a stranger to the theory or practice. The power you bring to bear and the distance and realities through which you can sustain those whose souls remain connected to their bodies would be far beyond what any one of my kind would be capable of alone. Yet I'm no stranger to such techniques.

I'd like to work with you in hopes of learning how to better read and understand these connections and the techniques used within voidspace to maintain them. How my own skills would fare.

[There is a short pause.]

Like myself I know several are here without a body to return to. Or that even if it remains, their connection to it is severed. For all intents, they would be dead and naught more than souls drawn to return to the flow of aether. If these tethers are in uncertain flux or if you become impaired, there is a strong possibility I can sustain them.

[Particularly if he had more knowledge of how such things are maintained through voidspace. What's left unspoken is there would only be so much he can do for those whose souls are still tethered to their bodies. Nevertheless he seems sincere.]

Perhaps even pursue the mystery of what happens to those souls ere they depart at the stations.
