video! because is there really another option we can use isn't txt disabled

In the interest of mine own ongoing entertainment, I have an offer to make to my new fellow Adventurers.

[Hey it's a new guy! And he holds up.. well it looks kind of like a smart cellphone if you squint really hard, but it definitely isn't.]

This is a hunt book, as designed and manufactured by ancient Allag. Upon being activated it tells me of any interesting creatures or beings that are about that may prove a diverting challenge to subdue, ranked by calculated difficulty and risk it poses to the local populations. While we are far from any guild which may reward any such hunts, should a mark appear I am willing to bring any interested in testing their mettle against it.

[Some people just really like hunting, ok? The device is put away.]

However there are ... restrictions. Should it offer up a mark that is exceptionally rare or vital to its ecosystem, alternates to slaying it are required; become creative with how you choose to subdue such a target without inflicting significant harm. If a slain mark is edible, it must be eaten, and as it seems this train has food storage room this should be a welcome addition to otherwise unappealing meals. I will not have waste for mere trophies and tales around a dinner table.

[Zenos makes a small gesture with one hand.]

I am to understand some of you have little battle beasts of your own. These are certainly welcome, but be mindful of your prey. Nature has little interest in rules and regulations. This is not a safe activity, and I expect those who wish to attend to be able to hold their own within reason.

[..................................]

...Would I be able to look through this book, even if I were not hunting?

[On the one hand, this book sounds Really Interesting.

On the other Do No Harm,

The faceless sphinx cub in her arms tries to paw the screen as she gently pulls said paw back. No, Yokan.

[A short nod.]

...Could it be useful in helping to treat injuries the creatures inside inflict?

...Ah.

[As if a switch is flipped-] ...I would like to join these hunts as medical back up, then...

[Because this is sounding...increasingly dangerous.]

....For personal reasons, I promised not to take any lives...

...but if you're worried that the latter will mean I'm defenseless, I know how to defend myself. ...I just won't kill anything.

[She has a gun full of sleep spells, and so on, if it gets dire.] ...but chasing after beasts when there's no knowledge of what the worst could be, without someone available for emergencies, is foolish.

[Kiyoiri doesn't need measured silence to answer. She blinks, and speaks- her words calm.]

...Do you really think I mean the hunt, when I refer to fools?

[It's something of a genuine question. After all; she was hardly referring to him, specifically. Unless he really thinks that everyone going for these hunts will look after themselves. That is foolish after all.] I said it would be foolish to go without support; not that the 'hunt' as a whole was foolish. Accidents only need happenstance to 'succeed'- and assuming that there will be time for everyone participating to return somewhere for help, would be irresponsible.

[The girl blinks.] Do you disagree?

I did not say I was. I was only offering to add it.

[There is a slight frown of confusion- she has the feeling that something she said did not quite sound the way it should have.] ...If what I said implied otherwise, then that is my fault. It isn't what was intended.
