[ Hello, train, Tidus on the screen, and the call is coming from (inside the house) inside the cinema car. Fortunately, when no one's watching any movies.

He gives a fake cough, hand up to his mouth to go with it. ]

Ahem. So! I don't have any muffins or a guy-cute face like Ryo's, but there is a cute guy I wanna talk about, and a vote.

That guy? Is my pal Romeo who's been here way too long. And the vote? Is about the popcorn machine in here.

[ He moves, pointing over to where the popcorn machine sits at the far end of the aisle. ]

Hard to see from down here, but the guy who bought that and buys the kernels? That was all him! And I know a lot of us've gotten fun out of it. So if you have, why not spare a vote to making them permanent? Either that or getting an art car. If you've seen Romeo around, I bet it's been him having fun with the paints!

[ And his mouth draws into a wider grin saying. ]

Thanks for your time! [ He gives a fun little salute. ] And see ya around!

Train said yeah! Just show it straight at the screen when you talk, alright?

[ Just look at Tidus's sheer power. Just as she expected.. he can just ask the train for anything and actually get an answer! It's amazing. ]

Thank you so much for asking, Tidus.. [ And even moreso that he actually came back with an answer! And a good one! ] That makes things a whole lot easier.. I don't think I'd be as good at trying to describe it in words.

[ And she does love drawing. ]

I'll try to think up some really good ideas for the art car..!

I'll be counting on you! [ Support! He'll give her a thumbs up, too. ] I wouldn't know what to ask for, anyway. 'Cept plenty of paper and colours.

[ Nevermind the pencils or brushes! Just those two, the train will know what he means! ]

That's okay, I think I can do it..!

[ That might just be the most determination Madoka has ever displayed.

But at least it'll give her something to focus on that isn't, you know, the existentialist crisis she is currently going through. So that'll be nice. ]

[ He smiles at the screen warmly - at Madoka's image. ]

Sure, I'll let you know. But what about you? There anything other than the art car you like? Anything dairy or protein or meat you miss?

.. not really. It was already nice enough having Japanese food around once before..

[ And since they already had it, Madoka thinks that she shouldn't ask for it. Especially when people have much more important dietary needs already up there! She has her art car to focus on..! ]

Besides.. I'm okay with just eating what the train gives us. Mama and papa always taught me to not be too picky when it comes to food..

Hmm, sure...

But - [ but of course there's always a but! ] - what if you made sure some Japanese foods got included too? A few people come here from a Japanese place - I know a few too. You, Gen, Senku, Seto and Yugi... and doesn't that mean Mami was too?

[ So many Japanese! (...because Tidus doesn't know a better word.) ]

So, how about you think of it like that? I'm sure your parents would agree that the people around here deserve some variety - and something they know.

[ Look at Tidus over here. Crafty little Tidus, trying to find ways around Madoka's inherent dislike of doing anything for herself ever by turning this into an issue about other people. ]

Well..

[ She still seems to waffle a little though. As if the internal brain council on Madoka's end is still trying to figure this entire thing out. ]

I guess I could ask for that, once I'm sure we have the art carriage.. [ Because that's priority #1! It's for the sake of Romeo's happiness..! ] Like, um.. a next project?

[ Madoka pauses again, considering this. ]

.. do you really think all those others would want Japanese food? [ Maybe they don't mind! She knows Yugi decently well, and she doesn't think she's heard him ever mention it before. ]

[ Tidus, at his tricks again! ]

They're probably the same as you. [ Speaking of Yugi... ] Yugi doesn't complain much, but I know Gen and Senku miss Japanese food. They were the one who asked me to get the spices that one time.

[ Which leads him to a curious thought. ]

I wonder how much spices or sauces would cost to get?

.. you mean on the voting list?

[ Madoka grows quiet for a moment, thinking. Trying to recall what kind of voting prices were listed on there.. ]

Most food stuff seemed like it needed.. um.. forty votes, right? But it's not like spices would be as big of a thing as meat.. Maybe it'd be closer to twenty, like the tea.

Oh yeah, that matches. [ Tea and spices are similar in amount, right? They're not a bunch of bananas or whatever, anyway.

But if it's a pick between spices or actual food... ]

Aiming for real food's better than spices. Spices are nice and all... but we've got some for the meantime. Let's get more food!

[ Fooooood. ]

[ There's a small pause. It's most likely a pause where Madoka is weighing in her head whether something is rude to say or not.. It's an urge she feels even more strongly when she's been having so many complicated feelings lately.

The last thing she wants to do is add the guilt of making someone feel bad on top of it all, after all. ]

Um, Tidus.. You sure like food, don't you..?

[ Clearly something that has the potential to be a Truly Offensive Remark!! ]

Don't you? Food's great!

[ Was there offence there? Look at Tidus, smiling and with a face like the most obvious thing has been pointed out.

It has yet to occur to him that there's a particular reason she asks...! (Maybe it will hit him in a second.) ]

N-No, I do!

[ Look how quickly she says that too. As if Madoka doesn't want him to fear even for a moment that he might be the only food lover out there!

Madoka sure enjoys some good food. But.. ]

It's just..

[ ... ]

.. you kind of talk about it a lot..

[ Sorry, Tidus.

If it helps, Madoka already looks a little apologetic as she's saying it. ]

[ Tidus is...staring forward...

And then he looks up briefly. ]

I do? [ Oh?? Hmmm. He's never thought about it, and he looks thoughtful with this observation. Inwardly, a bit flustered, but- ]

Well, if there's anything you can trust across different worlds or places, it's that people like food, right?

[ A hand comes up behind his neck. ]

...and I really like meat.

[ Eh heh. ]

.. don't worry. [ Madoka isn't too sure whether or not this is a bruised ego kind of situation, but.. she seems to want to smooth things over a little all the same. Tidus is way too nice of a person to ever have to feel bad, or even just a little bit awkward. ]

I don't think that's a bad thing. Food is really nice..

[ She pauses, though briefly. ]

And I think liking food is just.. one of the things that makes you you. A Tidus thing! [ It's certainly a little less cheery than she usually might have said that, since Madoka still isn't quite her usual self - but you can tell she's trying, and that she really does mean that, despite everything else. ]

[ It's okay, Madoka!! Tidus is a big boy who can handle being called out -- at least, if it's Madoka doing the calling out. There's some embarrassment, but he smiles an inch brighter as Madoka perks up her voice. ]

Yeah, you bet! Nothing wrong with liking food - just like you like making food too! And art, and giving a home to all the toys you've got.

[ One of which he added to, but you know. She's got far more than he has! ]

[ Look at this. A callout in return for a callout. And most of it she doesn't mind, since Madoka is pretty sure most people are well aware of her love for art, and her tendency to hang around in the kitchen and help out there, even when it isn't the blue team's turn to cook..

But there's another one. Another one! Madoka blushes, immediately knowing it's because Tidus saw her room last time around. ]

I-It's not weird, is it? Having all those toys..

[ At least it's not really that she consciously chose to have that many - though she enjoys it! It's just that people keep throwing them at her, hence how she ended up with a whole pile.. ]

Huh? No way. [ Did he make it sound weird? After all-! ] Isn't that normal? For young girls. You wanna pack your room with things you like!

[ Make it into the space you want it to be! Nevermind that the room has to be shared by three other people. They can put up.

Or the train can give Madoka her own bedroom. Either or. ]

[ Ssh, the train has already kept Madoka's cabin to just her and Ple Two and no one else for months now.. It clearly knows. ]

.. did you put your room full of stuff you like then, Tidus..?

[ Or, you know, the stuff your goofy roommate likes. ]
