[The video in the kitchen car turns on, showing Ryo holding up a tray of freshly baked muffins - half poppyseed and half chocolate chip, from the looks of it - and wearing a smile a bit more mischievous than usual.]

I don't know how many people have looked at the shop today, but we can now vote on improvements to the train. I had six votes, and I'd imagine most people have about that many.

I also have freshly baked muffins, and I'd like to offer a trade: if you vote to add scaffolding in the garden car, I'll give you a muffin, as long as I still have them available. If we get enough votes for scaffolding and you still want a muffin, voting for protein and dairy or for meat will also count. I'll be in the kitchen for a little while if you want to come talk to me.

[Yes, he is happily bribing the train to get what he wants. No, he has no shame - at least, not over this.]

Also, Thanatos, can you come see me when you get a minute? No rush.

[There's a poppyseed muffin set aside for Thanatos. Ryo takes care of his friends.]

Okay, but what if I wanna taste test a muffin first?

[ If Ryo's coming in the day with mischief, Tidus can act like a man gambling with getting a free taste of muffin. But he huffs a second after, a mirthful sound. ]

What d'you wanna grow, if you get the scaffolding?

[ He can't imagine it. What would go up there? Is it just frames? Sounds like it. ]

[Ryo gasps, theatrically affronted.]

Are you saying you don't trust my cooking?

[He knows that's not what Tidus meant, but if they're both leaning into the curve, then why not?]

[He does relax at the following question, expression turning thoughtful.]

I don't know - I figured I'd talk to Persephone about it. I just know we've needed more space for a while.

I saw there's a second car for plants - think that's always been a new garden car? [ Not that it's really a point, just thinking out loud. ] But yeah, the green thumbs can do with more room. Up above and another car.

You guys love growing.

[ Ryo's getting thrown in there for his singular patch (or two). Tidus can do it, he can do what he wants, all with a teasing grin. (Ignore the potted healing plants he got Persephone to help grow.) ]

I don't know - I think we'd need to make it clear that it should be a greenhouse car and not a garden car - but the scaffolding is easier to get, so I went for that first.

[Stopgaps first, long term goals a little later. For now, he'll take the stopgap.]

Well of course - it's relaxing. You should give it a try.

[It's a little teasing right back, as he doesn't see Tidus as the type to spend hours on his knees in the dirt - at least, not voluntarily.]

I've got a few seeds! [ Said, in a bit of a sing-song. Until: ] --For later, when there's more room.

[ More room with a new carriage. Which he isn't in a rush to be planting, so no biggy. Him? Growing. Let's swerve this somewhere more fun. ]

But the seeds I could be trying are your poppyseed muffins. Y'know, a bite - in case they're too good. What if I can't finish it after the first bite?

[ What then, Ryo? Clearly a real issue that happens all the time. ]

[He shrugs a bit - that's a fair enough answer, and they are low on greenhouse space...and then Tidus continues. They're back to teasing, then. He raises an eyebrow.]

You can do whatever you want with your muffin, if you get a muffin. Did you vote for scaffolding?

But what if I can't handle the muffin and I voted on scaffolding? Don't I get a test taste?

[ Ryo! ]

[ A deep, deep sigh from the chest. Tidus folds his arms, shakes his head. ]

That's cruel, Ryo.

[He just shrugs.]

I told you how you could get a muffin. The rest is up to you.

Can't bargain with a guy who won't bite. [ He shrugs back, but then chuckles into his next words. ]

I wanna see what there is again anyway. There's a few good things on there.

[He shrugs again, though there's a bit of a grin to it. He'd give Tidus a muffin if he asked in person, but over the ICPs he has to keep to the rules he'd set - if other people knew there was a loophole, there's a chance they wouldn't follow them either.]

There are, though I think it'll be a while before we can manage them all. Let me know what you decide.
