This is Thanatos. I am Death Incarnate on my world, and I can sense death. If anyone starts to act more recklessly or endanger themselves due to recent revelations, I will heal you with my manadrive and alert all the healers on the train to do the same. They will find you.

[ And that's probably more of a threat than Death approaching. Speaking of threats...

Mort jumps off Thanatos's shoulder and onto the ICP to squeak his own message about not getting hurt and making Thanatos upset because Thanatos is upset enough (even if no one can really understand Mort.) Thanatos scrambles to catch Mort before he slips down the screen, but Mort continues squeaking even as Thanatos holds him, stroking his head with a finger in hopes of calming Mort down. ]

So please do not attempt to hasten towards my domain just because you are not as physically present as you once were.

I've seen a lot of hells in my time. And not one of them hath fury like a healer who thinks someone injured themself in a stupid way.

If I may add my own words of wisdom to this:

This is not a battlefield, meaning I am under no obligation to actually heal anyone. And, quite frankly, I'd be curious to see how the train handles dying and death if you really want to be that reckless.

No support will be given to anyone that tries it, but at least do me the courtesy of adding to my notes.

If you're hurt, you can come to me and I'll take care of you. If you hurt yourself, or got hurt doing something stupid, you can still come to me and I'll still take care of you. I can't promise I won't lecture you, but I will make sure you're alright.

It would help if we knew what exactly we were. Why do we still bleed and feel pain, for the most part? Is something happening to our bodies? Does death destroy the soul?

Death does not destroy the soul. If I did, then I wouldn't be collecting them to bring to the Underworld as part of my job. There would be no shades. No Underworld. No afterlife.

As for the rest, Ten-Nank spoke that tethering brings along one's abilities, capabilities, limitations, and needs. Bleeding and pain likely fall with the latter two.

[ Assuming that Devero and Thanatos were both present and had explained how they healed in whatever healer meetings happened, Thanatos would know. If not, then Thanatos will have a flash of confusion on his face about that.

However, Mort will wiggle out of Thanatos's hand to scamper up his shoulder to squeak at Devero. ]

But she likes to think it's a very healthy form of taking out your anger, honestly.

[ One of the reasons Thanatos thought of making this post is a previous experience with her cabinmate, Rich. So, he's a little surprised to hear a different name. Then again, she could watch Rich better than him. ]

It is... still part of the situation that merely staying with the voidcraft might result in such hastening. Unless I have misunderstood.

There is that possibility, and as we currently lack a way to leave the Voidcraft, that is all the more reason to take care of yourself as you are now.
