ORCHESTRA TWO
[Alright so admittedly it took Katsuya a bit to react to this, not the least because he was a bit busy looking over missing names and such on the roster instead of at his own name and points.
The day after that though, boy howdy-]
So...SO....guess who's 18? [It's him, the one grinning and not directly looking at the camera. He is 18.
Ahem.] Nyhhh, figures this'd happen right after we went t' tha' resort though...

[ Madoka puffs up her cheeks a little bit, seeming just the faintest bit pouty. It wouldn't be fair if Katsuya aged up and didn't get any presents, right? It's not like they'll go back home and magically go back to their original age.. or so Madoka thinks, anyway.
And that means he would have missed out on an entire year's worth of presents! That's so much.
But he does mention that part about the meal, making her protests die down a little - for now. ]
... Oh, um.. I guess we do have octopus this month.. [ And he's Japanese like her, right? He's got to be, with his name. ] Do you like takoyaki..?

If y' can make takoyaki that'd be perfect!! It's been ages since I had tha' kinda taste from home! Hey, y' know how they do it up in Osaka? My sister lived there..!
[It's a shot in the dark of course, because Madoka sure as heck doesn't speak with an Osaka-ben dialect, but it's worth asking!!!]

But I can see if the train gave us a recipe for it.. Maybe that'll end up being that version of it? [ If there's a takoyaki recipe at all. If not, Madoka can probably wing it, but it'd definitely be in her own way, rather than the Osakan way. But then again, it feels natural that there ought to be a takoyaki recipe when the monthly ingredient is octopus of all things.. ]
Would regular takoyaki be okay if there's no recipe?

But she has a good reason to be so determined. ]
