Three things:

One: Is everyone okay?

Two: There's food in the dining car, and coffee and tea and hot chocolate. Come get something to eat if you need it.

Three: What happened?

Eh, I've had my fair share of kidnappings before. And that had to be one of the most boring ones I've had yet. They just asked some questions. No one threatened to destroy me or experiment on me. I didn't have to fight my way out either.

I never really thought about it like that. But maybe?

That kind of thing just tends to happen a lot.

You just said you get kidnapped a lot, people threaten to destroy you, and you have to fight your way out. That sounds pretty dangerous.

[There's a bit of pot and kettle here, but he's not thinking about that - kidnapping is different from the everyday dangers in Ryo's world, and generally a lot more targeted.]

Well, now that you put it like that it sounds really bad.

[He shrugs.]

I guess I'm just used to it? Its not like I get kidnapped every week.

Now people threatening to destroy me. That's every day. But I don't take it personally.

[He squints his eyes shut for a moment. No, he's gone too far down this rabbit hole for today. He's done.]

Actually, come get some food.

[Maybe the subject will change sometime before Danny arrives.]

[Danny is successfully distracted. ]

Cool. I'll be right over.

[There's a moment or two before Danny arrives in which Ryo can Sense him coming, and...something doesn't quite click. Something isn't quite right in his Sense, and he's not sure what it is-]

[And he pushes it aside when Danny arrives. Priorities.]

I have stew, bone broth, and bread, and I also have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. What would you like?

Hot chocolate. [The answer comes immediately. If there was a choice between chocolate and anything else, always choose chocolate. ]

And I guess maybe stew?

Of course. Have a seat.

[He dishes up a bowl of stew, pours a cup of hot chocolate, and sets them both in front of Danny, managing a small smile.]

"Hey, thanks!" Danny takes the food with a grin and digs in.
