If we haven't met yet, my name's Jake. Jake Peralta, your clues guy. I'm down to poke things with sticks and solve mysteries! Sooner we figure out what the train's entire deal is, where we're going and all that, the better, right? But in the meantime, I thought it'd be fun to get to know my new squad!

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone would be down to play a little Earth game called Never Have I Ever. How it works is you say something totally cool, or weird, or boring that you haven't done. And anybody who has done it has to take a drink. Unfortunately, I'm as broke here as I was back home, so I can't supply the booze. And we should probably be setting a good example, right?

So just drink whatever you have! Be that water, juice, milk, coffee...or if you happen to have a proper adult beverage on you, go ahead and drink responsibly. You ready? Great, I'll start: never have I ever gone skydiving!

Outside, it was. But...inside, it was kept somewhat warm; better safe than otherwise.

Yes, the coldest point on earth is located there.

Though, we were still far from it- Chaldea was located closer to the shoreline. [Close enough to slide downhill in a storage container anyway.]

Could you see the ocean from where you were?

Not from inside the building- there were windows, but not too many. The building was meant to be unknown in location.

...However, we saw it while driving away. [The ocean, she means.]

I guess secret buildings are like that. Hypnos didn't have many windows either.

"Like what?" He appeared genuinely curious. And also oblivious to any strangeness in his admitting to deep familiarity with a secret government organization.

"When you fight someone, and then find a common enemy, and then that someone is your friend..."

Beat.

"...but it's an entire organization, now..."

[dreamtamer]

"Oh! Yeah, I think that happens a lot in my world! It was like that with the Sovereigns and the Devas." An awkward smile. "Ruki too, I guess. And Mr. Yamaki."

Kiyoiri just nods, in apparent complete understanding.

"Exactly. 'Like that', you can see now." After a while, it's just normal! One wonders how the Conan of her world hasn't completely lost it yet. "Kindness begets kindness; undoubtedly, your own kindness helped them make the decision."

She's pretty sure it was probably that anyway. Takato isn't exactly someone who seems inclined to rely on brute force manipulations, so.

"Well, I don't know about that. I think it was mostly that we kept finding bigger enemies. And the biggest threat.... Well it needed everyone to work together to stop it. It wanted to delete everything, both humans and digimon. And our worlds too."

"That's right. Well, I'm pretty sure that Zhuqiaomon still dislikes humans. But everyone else gets along now."
