Never have I ever made a fool of myself [video, nebula 17]
What's up, party people?
[ And here's a cheerful wave from a man in orange, seated in his room with a mug of...something. ]
If we haven't met yet, my name's Jake. Jake Peralta, your clues guy. I'm down to poke things with sticks and solve mysteries! Sooner we figure out what the train's entire deal is, where we're going and all that, the better, right? But in the meantime, I thought it'd be fun to get to know my new squad!
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone would be down to play a little Earth game called Never Have I Ever. How it works is you say something totally cool, or weird, or boring that you haven't done. And anybody who has done it has to take a drink. Unfortunately, I'm as broke here as I was back home, so I can't supply the booze. And we should probably be setting a good example, right?
So just drink whatever you have! Be that water, juice, milk, coffee...or if you happen to have a proper adult beverage on you, go ahead and drink responsibly. You ready? Great, I'll start: never have I ever gone skydiving!
((ooc: it's a big mingle format! Go ahead and add new 'never have I ever' statements as new toplevels, and threadhop all you want.))

The fact you can wave your hand is a signal that comes from your brain. So if you cut your hand, your brain lets you know that hurts. You feel pain because of the chemicals created in the brain. It's the same things with things you like. Your brain creates and releases a chemical, and you like the reaction your brain has, you like the feeling, so you repeat what you were doing.
For most people, a good example is eating chocolate, because people really like chocolate and it makes them feel happy. That's a chemical released from your brain.

[ Inigo is just entirely quiet all of a sudden. It's almost as if he just walked away, but no, he is still very much visible on the screen.
The only thing is that he's not talking. At all. He's just staring, like he just.. can't believe what he's hearing.
He might, in fact, be growing a little pale. ]
I think I need to sit down.. [ He finally mumbles after a few moments. ]

Do I need to slow down? [ He figures that might be the problem, breaking up the information into smaller chunks. ]

But there's a little more going on here. ]
I think I feel dizzy..
[ Senku, help.
Unless you just want the guy to pass out in the middle of the carriage. That's cool too. ]

His tone is calm and even, very relaxing to listen to. ]
Inigo, you're going to listen to me now. Slow, deep breath in...and out. In for three, out for four.

It leaves a few moments of dead silence, with nothing but Inigo trying to breathe, before he latches onto the terminal with his hands so tightly that his knuckles turn white, just to help keep himself together. ]
I really miss Ylisse..
[ Where everything was simple, thanks. ]

[ He sighs a little bit to himself and just leaves it at that. He's a little sorry, but he'll remove himself as a catalyst for Inigo's problems with a little wave, moving to get up. ]
