If we haven't met yet, my name's Jake. Jake Peralta, your clues guy. I'm down to poke things with sticks and solve mysteries! Sooner we figure out what the train's entire deal is, where we're going and all that, the better, right? But in the meantime, I thought it'd be fun to get to know my new squad!

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone would be down to play a little Earth game called Never Have I Ever. How it works is you say something totally cool, or weird, or boring that you haven't done. And anybody who has done it has to take a drink. Unfortunately, I'm as broke here as I was back home, so I can't supply the booze. And we should probably be setting a good example, right?

So just drink whatever you have! Be that water, juice, milk, coffee...or if you happen to have a proper adult beverage on you, go ahead and drink responsibly. You ready? Great, I'll start: never have I ever gone skydiving!

Aren't epithets insults?

Not for gods and goddesses. At least not most of them? It's a title of sorts, adding to or occasionally replacing our names in worship. So adding an insult and asking for a blessing is not likely to work out.

Humans love to do that stuff, the adding, not the insult. Like Athena Polias for her city. Both Hera and Aphrodite get their names tacked onto the other since love and marriage are so heavily linked. There's even a special one for when your temple is on a hill.

Oh! Well, technically I am actually Toua Koumyou Sanzō Hoshi-sama the 30th. But only Koumyou is a name, albeit a holy name... the rest is all title stuff, which I think doesn't count. So probably the same for that!

Well I'm one of the ones whose name got replaced entirely so I suppose it still counts regardless. At least I think it did? Humans were only calling me by Persephone when I left?

I technically have even more, but I never memorized the ones specifically for the Maten, only for the Seiten. But I did protect both, so...

I'm too young and minor a goddess to have a bunch of epithets myself. Kudos to you.

Well, I'm mortal I think.

But I personally protected two fifths of that which made everything, nothing, and all in between. I still protect one fifth, the other piece is with my son now. So I guess I'm a very important mortal, where I'm from.
