If we haven't met yet, my name's Jake. Jake Peralta, your clues guy. I'm down to poke things with sticks and solve mysteries! Sooner we figure out what the train's entire deal is, where we're going and all that, the better, right? But in the meantime, I thought it'd be fun to get to know my new squad!

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone would be down to play a little Earth game called Never Have I Ever. How it works is you say something totally cool, or weird, or boring that you haven't done. And anybody who has done it has to take a drink. Unfortunately, I'm as broke here as I was back home, so I can't supply the booze. And we should probably be setting a good example, right?

So just drink whatever you have! Be that water, juice, milk, coffee...or if you happen to have a proper adult beverage on you, go ahead and drink responsibly. You ready? Great, I'll start: never have I ever gone skydiving!

What kinda 'like' we talkin' about here? [Yondu is, notably, not drinking. Not that he didn't try.... for like, two minutes, before he gave up. But he sure as shit has given other people a hard time over it.]

Eh, its hard as hell dependin' on what part of your heart you got on the line. I've been able to do it when it ain't meant to be romantic... family or good friend or whatever. Takes me too long. But I've done it. [A couple of rare, infrequent times. Morso on the train than back when he had his crew breathing down his neck.]

The romantic kind, but I don't think it was love either which is why I said it in the way that I did.

I think confessing to friends and such is much easier though that you like them as a friend.

It ain't when you spent a couple decades havin' to convince people you ain't soft in any conceivable fashion. But even then, romantic is still a hell of a lot harder than that. Ever' time I've had an eye for somebody they've either been taken or real obviously not interested in the slightest.

I'm sorry to hear that, especially the first one. That's what happened to me honestly and it still stings a bit. But hey, positive is we both have friends still here right?
