If we haven't met yet, my name's Jake. Jake Peralta, your clues guy. I'm down to poke things with sticks and solve mysteries! Sooner we figure out what the train's entire deal is, where we're going and all that, the better, right? But in the meantime, I thought it'd be fun to get to know my new squad!

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone would be down to play a little Earth game called Never Have I Ever. How it works is you say something totally cool, or weird, or boring that you haven't done. And anybody who has done it has to take a drink. Unfortunately, I'm as broke here as I was back home, so I can't supply the booze. And we should probably be setting a good example, right?

So just drink whatever you have! Be that water, juice, milk, coffee...or if you happen to have a proper adult beverage on you, go ahead and drink responsibly. You ready? Great, I'll start: never have I ever gone skydiving!

I wonder what item that counts as... I did get more incense this last go around, that was good. Not drinkable though.

I usually don't buy food or beverages, so I'm not the best person to figure it out. Whatever you get would be better than trying to steep incense, however.

Ugh. Nope, never, that's so horrible my stomach just turned.

I've tried some unpleasant things, but that sounds dangerous.

It sounds like you'd definitely need to go make miserable faces at Ryo asking for help, yeah. Or anyone talented with medical... don't make them at me, that's not the kind of hurt I can help with.

I also try to avoid getting myself needlessly hurt. Some people seem to be too good at it.

It does seem to be a talent at times... glad it's not one you have to worry about.

I've seen quite a bit of it out of Tidus, Senku, and Vegeta. Senku's usually smart about when a risk seems worth taking, though.

( Jingyi just has to laugh at that, but he also has to agree. He'd probably shove his name on that list but HAHAHA HE IS YET UNKNOWN )

Yeah, Senku was ready to ride a dragon at the drop of a hat, that takes a certain personality. Tidus dives in. I'm not familiar with Vegeta... aside from in passing, I think we all see each other at some point.

He's some sort of warrior prince, with a lot of pride. A lot of power to back it up, though, so it's not like I could step into most situations that could threaten him.

At least you can lecture him once he's back from whatever might have threatened him. Or remind him why being reckless isn't the only way to be? Lectures. There's always time for lecures!

I don't think he'd try to hurt me, but I'm not sure he'd respect me on my own.

That's hard to say... where I'm from at least, juniors respect their seniors and elders, but the respect doesn't need to deeply flow the other direction, if that makes sense? Not because those older than me don't care, but they are the ones with more wisdom and experience, in the general idea of things. Not like that's always true, but they have my respect, regardless.
