[Video] Nebula 17

[The video kicks on showing Ruby in the Quiet Cab, looking a bit nervous]

Uh, yeah... h-hi, I'm Ruby Rose, I just got here and, um... I had a.. crazy idea. I'm sure you'll think I'm silly and all that, but...

[Deep breath, Ruby.]

Before I came to this world, I was brought to another world called Prismatica. Because of how I was brought in, I was given strange abilities by being "Moonblessed". One of those is being able to make energy I can use within myself called "Chroma" that fuels both the powers from my world and the powers from that world... among other things. And we make this by "Moonlacing", which is willingly touching another.

All I really need to do is to touch someone with their permission or vice versa, but Prismatica preferred more affectionate touches. Hugs, kisses... th-things that I would probably get yelled at for saying because there's kids here.

[Another deep breath and...]

I guess what I'm trying to say is that, well... a lot of you are hurting because of what this train does and... I want to help. Boy or girl, taken or not, I'm here if you need someone to give you affection and it also helps me not feel drained!

Does... that make sense? It makes sense in my head and...

Oh, I probably screwed this up...

Oh! Yeah, right away!

[Disconnecting and she will only be...maybe two minutes. Flying invisibly and phasing is fast and better to help sooner then later in her book.]

[A quick search and she is going to pop into view with a very corgi looking dog.] Hello! I'm Razzy. I also brought Gabriel in case petting counted, but doggies always make things better.

Oh! Hi, Razzy! [And she looks at the corgi before her] Ah! And you got a corgi, too! I have one back home...!

[She'll reach out to pet Gabriel]

[Razzy will offer the dog who is more then happy to leap into her lap for pettings. His fur is a little rougher and darker then normal corgis, but very close.]

He's a cave corgi, but they do look a lot alike.

[And she will float on over to drape over Ruby's back because far be it for her to deny Gabriel pets.]

Wow... fur's a little rougher, but it's still like a corgi's. Such a good boy...

[And as she pets the corgi, Ruby's other arm reaches up and around to hold Razzie]

He's the best boy. Been with me through a lot.

[Gabriel barks happily, leaning into the pets.]

And hey, if you're up for naps...I get nightmares sometimes. Gabriel helps, but bad nights come and like...cuddlepiles were always the best way to help them back home. Sleepers pull us back at night, but like daytime naps are probably fine.

[Said. Very nonchalantly. Totally nothing to worry about, those nightmares, just a thing!]

I would be glad to have naps with you! I'll... I'll do what I can to help you with those nightmares.

[She blushes as she looks up and smiles at Razzy]

Usually just having another breathing body helps. [Breathing is very important for most of her bad dreams.] I think Gabriel just gets away sometimes and they come. At least so far I haven't phased him under the bed with me yet.

So if I suddenly disappear, just like...check under it.

[Ruby giggles at that]

Of course. I don't sleep heavy, so if you vanish, I'll make sure to check and bring you back.

[And now she's petting both Gabriel and Razzy, reassuring the both of them]

Hmm, neither do I, usually.

[She closes her eyes and leans into the touch. She...hadn't realized how much she missed it. Edward was like her, knew how much touch was important, and Al was so eager to feel again, she hadn't been in want for affection in Amestris or anyone she visited.]

[Most everyone had the same need for comfort that had been in Sabra.]

[It had been lacking on the train from the degree she was used to.]

Also two forms. It's why I looked different on the screen.

You transform? I've never seen that before. I would love to see it... when we're not in such an adorable cuddlepile like this.

[She notices how she leaned into the touch and tilted her head slightly]

I got room... join me...

I mean, not hard to do. [And there is probably a tingling of energy as white rings travel over her body. And raises her body temperature because what is bodyheat as a ghost.]

See? Instant human.

[She will move over the back of the seat to sit next to her though, leaning close.]

Oh! Ha, that is so cool! And warm, too...!

[Ruby wraps an arm around her once she gets close.]

Y'know, I get any more comfortable, I just might pass out...

Ah, yeah. Bloodflow makes a world of difference.

[Time to curl up and cuddle. It was too much a comfort of choice for her to have any hesitation for this sort of thing.]

If you need a nap, take a nap. I might too. Last night wasn't bad, but naps are great.

Haa… I guess I will… though, I’m sorry about this.

[And she playfully kisses the top of her head.]

Thank you for being here…

You're welcome. [She smiles at the kiss. Yeah, she was definitely missing this.]

But why are you apologizing?

[Ruby blushes at that.]

I wasn’t sure if I was overstepping by giving you the kiss. Guess I had no need to worry, huh?

Things that are...what's the word...plate-plato-platonic? I think it's platonic. Not romance stuff is fine.

I have been told I am too young for romance stuff.

But not is cool. The last place I was in, physical affection was one of the better way to deal with things. [She reaches down, scratching Gabriel behind the ears.] A lot of dorms had like blanket forts set up in the middle of the place pretty frequently.

Aw, I wish I had been there! That sounds so cool! We should do one some day.

And I’d be glad for more platonic things. I need to adjust since the world I was on pushed more romantic overtones…

[She giggled at that]

But, that just means we can be affectionate with being romantic!

It was not, but the blanket forts were awesome. We absolutely should. We could make a whole car into one.

Ah, so it was like that. Weird magical overlords do like that for some reason.

Affection is always great.

It’s so weird they would want to do such things…

And affection is awesome… you’re awesome…

[And there’s another kiss as she pulls the two closer, closing her eyes and yawning.]

I dunno either. And no one really wanted to explain it even though I apparently knew the 'worst parts.' [She sticks out her tongue in a pout.]

[No one accounted for her having a good grasp of biology for clone research.]

You're pretty cool too. [Sweet and fighting to save the world and not making her nightmares a weird thing.]

[She'll pull her closer and start petting her hair, humming softly.]

[She giggles as she leans into the touch herself]

I think we're going to be the best of friends here. You need anything, Ruby's here for you...

[And she'll start petting her hair as well]

I'd like that.

And if you ever need help, you can always ask me.

Good. We need each other's back.

[Another yawn and she cuddles up against Razzy, smiling widely as she did.]

A pretty good policy.

[She keeps up the petting, letting her eyes drift shut.]

[She wasn't kidding about the naps. She doesn't usually sleep throughout the whole night.]
