[The video kicks on showing Ruby in the Quiet Cab, looking a bit nervous]

Uh, yeah... h-hi, I'm Ruby Rose, I just got here and, um... I had a.. crazy idea. I'm sure you'll think I'm silly and all that, but...

[Deep breath, Ruby.]

Before I came to this world, I was brought to another world called Prismatica. Because of how I was brought in, I was given strange abilities by being "Moonblessed". One of those is being able to make energy I can use within myself called "Chroma" that fuels both the powers from my world and the powers from that world... among other things. And we make this by "Moonlacing", which is willingly touching another.

All I really need to do is to touch someone with their permission or vice versa, but Prismatica preferred more affectionate touches. Hugs, kisses... th-things that I would probably get yelled at for saying because there's kids here.

[Another deep breath and...]

I guess what I'm trying to say is that, well... a lot of you are hurting because of what this train does and... I want to help. Boy or girl, taken or not, I'm here if you need someone to give you affection and it also helps me not feel drained!

Does... that make sense? It makes sense in my head and...

Oh, I probably screwed this up...

It is a bit weird, honestly, but that's definitely on the world you came from, not on you. But yeah, like I said, you'd find some people here who definitely wouldn't mind friendly hugs and stuff.

[ So she'll go ahead and hang up on the ICP, and make her way down to the Quiet Car. It's a bit of a walk, since the sleeper bunks are all the way at the other end of the train, but eventually she does arrive, and looks around for the other girl. ]

[It takes Ruby a little while, but she takes notice of a brown-haired girl entering the area, she looks up and comes more into view.]

Kitty?

[ She turns in the direction of the voice, and smiles when she spots her, heading over. ]

Hey, Ruby!

Nice to meet you in person! You’re just in time to be the first!

[She giggled and opens up her arms]

Any questions?

Hmm, maybe a few. But none that are really urgent.

[ So she steps closer to hug the other girl. It feels a bit odd to be hugging someone she just met, but she doesn't mind too much. ]

[As Ruby returns the hug, she lets out a sigh, feeling the energy starting to gather. She knows it’s so awkward hugging someone she just met, but she wanted to do good. Even if it meant admitting the world you came from had weird customs.]

You can ask me while we’re hugging…

[ Somehow, talking and hugging feels a bit more awkward, but she doesn't want to break the hug in case Ruby still needs it for the Chroma or whatever. And getting a hug does feel nice for her too. ]

So this world you were at before...you said that when you went there, it made it so that Chroma fuels both your powers from home and the powers you got in that world. Does that mean you can't use any of your powers if you run out of Chroma?

That's right. Once I'm out, I'm pretty much a normal person. Which is... pretty bad.

Hmm, yeah, that would be pretty bad. [ Especially if it happened during a mission. ] Did you ever do a lot of fighting or anything back home?

My home? ...for the past three years. My world's overrun with these creatures called Grimm, which are drawn to negative emotions. I was training to be a Huntress so that I can protect people when everything went crazy. My school was destroyed and one of my friends was killed, so...

Oh gosh. I'm really sorry.

It's okay. Back home, I got my big sister and my friends with me. We'll fix this, somehow.

[She'll pull back at that, still holding onto Kitty, though.]

If only the train will let me go...

[ Kitty nods. ] Yeah, I get that. It's not too bad here, but...I'd been in the middle of something back home too.

Ha… we’re both unlucky in that regard, huh?

[Those bad habits of hers pick up, causing her to play with Kitty’s hair.]

[ The touch is a bit surprising, but not entirely unpleasant. So she manages a smile and shrugs. ] Yeah, a little bit.

[ They just have to hope their teams will be okay until they get back. ]

I’m sure things’ll be alright… more that alright.

[Her hand continues to play with Kitty’s hair as she hugs her tighter.]

S-sorry… bad urges…

[ Shaking her head a little, she returns the hug again and gently rubs Ruby's back. ] It's okay. It helps, right?

It does, yeah. I… just don’t want to freak you out.

[She returns the back rub as her other hand accidentally starts undoing Kitty’s ponytail…]

[ Kitty blinks, glance back at the other girl when she feels her hair loosening a bit. ]

Well, um...I don't really mind the hug. This might be getting a bit much, though.
