Heard we're supposed to be having another mission soon... seems a bit like every time we get beat down, we have a nice break, then have to get beat down even harder, huh?

[Rich is starting to get tired of this, honestly. He's trying not to let it show on his face, but the bags under his eyes probably still make it obvious. At least he seems to be back to his talkative self, though he has to admit... it's just because he can't take the silence anymore.]

Anyways, I've been thinkin' a lot about the stuff I miss back home. Video games and cheesy movies, and fast food courts in malls that seem like a great vibe until two hours later when you've barricaded yourself in a bathroom stall. All the stuff we don't have a lot of here. And I think there's one thing we're sorely missing, which is memes.

[He smirks a little.] I mean, I could do an acoustic riff on Astley if anyone wanted it, but I wonder if we have better than that.

Maybe we could use that laptop to make new ones? Yknow, all that bottom text goodness? Though I guess we couldn't really use them as reaction images on these terminals...

Anyways, I guess, what's the one thing you wish you had here, that the train just can't replace for you? So whatever you can't buy from the store. I'm in a nostalgic kinda mood.

Well, if you need help understanding modern stuff, I'll always try to help you out! I mean, I'm not the smartest, but I lived in a place with a lot of tech that people from the past wouldn't be used to.

[He laughs, but it sounds a little nervous.]

I wonder if they'd say it was the good kind, too.

There are certain things I'm okay with, like the devices since I had to use those in the last place I was in.

It's basically everything else since I never paid that much attention due to work or training all, the time.

[At least now he was trying to act his age instead of someone much older, but perhaps that was because he didn't need money for a change, so he didn't need to focus on worrying about that and could actually relax for a change.]

I've also learned the wonders of video games and the cinema... Odd as it sounds I never really... did stuff to relax. So it's been interesting.

The last place you were in? What was that place like?

[It sounds like it's not his actual world, which is still rare to him. He knows a few people who went to a different world before they came here, but it's still bizarre to think about.]

Video games are fun though! If it helps, I didn't get to play a lot of them before either... taking the chance to have some fun with them now that I can, even if the arcade cabinets here aren't my style.

It was very...unique is all I can say about it. Mostly because each of the five cities were so vastly different to one another. The place I was that before even that was even more unquie in the places that existed. Worlds are pretty amazing for that.

I can go into detail about each of the places, but might be here a while.

Hey, if you're willing to talk, I'm more than willing to listen. God knows I ramble on if something gets my attention, so I can't blame you. Besides, I mean, I've heard of people who've been to a different world, but not five different places. Unless all those cities were part of the same world.

More than five over all technically. I actually lost count. But the one with the five cities all the cities seemed to be based on genres now that I have seen movies and actually understand that sort of thing.

Like we had a place that was very horror themed for example. One was very fantasy and one I believe was Sci-fi like.

Damn, that's nuts. To be hopping all over so much you lose count? I'd get pretty homesick...

The movie theme seems weird, though. Like who would want to live in a horror movie?

I do get homesick, but at the same time not like I could go home even if I wanted to.

You'd honestly be surprised. Much like people who arrive here there were many different kinds of people and some did live in that city.

You can't go back home? Did... something happen there?

[Sure, Rich is unsure if he'll be accepted when he goes back home, but there's still nothing stopping him from doing so.]

I guess that's true. Everyone has their own thing. Some of us would find that paradise, so I guess that's something.

To home, yes and no.

[Yes as in technically it was at the time he arrived in the first place it was lost to darkness, but at the same time he liked to think that it was fine and okay now. He wanted it to be okay.]

It's more a complicated story but over all even if the world is safe I still wouldn't be allowed home because of the fact I'm wanted. So that's the simple way to explain it.

Ah, a law breaker, huh? I've shoplifted and shit a couple times, but I'm not exactly wanted. Unless my friend's parents want an arson charge.

What kind of trouble did you get into?

A non intentional law breaker. Things just happened and because of them I am now wanted by those I worked for.

[Minus his friends of course who are 100% on his side.]

But for what I did... Technically it's Treason. Basically it started when I helped two people escape and have their final moments in peace and away from everyone. That lead me to bring imprisoned which lead to someone trying to... I don't actually know. Not great either way. So I got busted out of prison by people we are fighting against and because of that I became wanted for that.

I just have the worst luck lets just say that.
