nebula 2, morning
[ Seto looks tired. Someone's only been having his mandatory sleep and nothing more, and that shows. His frown is etched deeper than usual too. ]
We have to talk about the people we've lost. And I don't mean in a 'let's all gather and mourn' way, though that might be...beneficial to some, and I'm not against the idea.
I mean that I refuse to accept that they're gone forever and there's no way we can see them again.
Remember when we visited the void river, and we were told that our emotions, allegedly, would travel across spacetime and reach the people we've left behind? Remember Diagad, when we walked the void to bring people home? The people we've lost are still out there---they have to be, a small handful have returned, right?
If my suspicions about how this all works are correct, all we need is full control of a voidcraft...and that, of course, is the thus-far insurmountable obstacle. So I'm researching as much as I can when we touch down, and I'd like to ask for your help. If you have any other clues or theories about how reaching our lost allies would be possible. Share, please.

[ Seto turns to face him once more, a curious little tilt to his head. ]

[He mentioned it but then didn't know how he wanted to word it exactly. With a slight laugh he soon things of something, a mall blush on his cheeks.]
Honestly... I can't say for certain the far future. But the here and now I at least know I want you to be part of whatever future there is. Even if we aren't from the same world... I still want to be connected...
[His hand soon moved to where the ring still sat holding it up slightly.]
Do you remember what these represent?

He reaches up to grasp his own ring. ]
To stand by each other, no matter what life throws at us. The tie that binds us.
[ His voice lowers. Not hesitant, but reverent. And he meets Yugi's eyes with a soft smile, the tender expression he saves just for him. ]
Love. Nothing will defeat our love. Right?

Exactly, but rings have various different meanings to. That just happened to be that one but... I honestly brought it with another meaning in mind, for a perfect time which I am aware now will never really be a thing.
[He takes a small breath. Was this the best time for this? No. Not really, but yet he was truthful in the fact there never would be a good time. Why did he feel so nervous?]
I want the rings to represent that, but at the same time I kinda want the ring to be worn in a different way... [He felt like he was beating around the bush and he sighed at himself for a moment.]
I guess I'm asking is if we take the step of getting married. People have done it on the train before and haven't been here for as long as us so... why not? I love you and I want to take that step.

Seto hadn't really attended weddings as a guest either, so the traditions were theoreticals to him. Something for his company's legal department to take care of when addressing leave policies. He'd never envisioned himself taking a partner of his own...and yet here was Yugi in front of him, and Seto knows there's no one he wants more.
Can he be the strong, faithful, and loving husband Yugi deserves...? He'll have to be. The man in front of him deserves nothing less.
Seto's breath catches in his throat as he moves to answer, and his eyes feel a strange sort of pressure. There's a heavy weight to this gesture, that much he knows. But this challenge...he'll rise to it. The way Yugi shines is irresistible. ]
...you want it on my finger then, huh?
[ He lifts his left hand, envisions it...and then smiles, gently reaching for Yugi and reeling him in. He holds tight, and in this position it's obvious he's trembling a little. ]
Yes. I'll marry you, Yugi.
[ There's more to figure out, but that can wait. He's more concerned with peppering Yugi with kisses right now. After all this time, after everything...Yugi still wants him. And Seto wants Yugi desperately.
They'll share their bond with their little world. It'll be fine. Probably.]

But his movements didn't seem like a bad thing at least, so that was at least hopeful. He nodded at the question soon after.]
I mean technically you don't have to since I guess work wise it might not always be the wisest of ideas, but at others times... it would be nice.
[He face started to heat up, going a light shade of red as he soon wrapped his arms around his waist, holding him back and smiling like there was no tomorrow.]
I'm glad...Though I guess that brings up a few things that we can talk about later since it's not as important right now.

...maybe we don't have to go to work right this minute.
[ There's a playful, almost hopeful expression on his face. ]

[Yugi figured he might as well be playful in return.]
