[ Seto looks tired. Someone's only been having his mandatory sleep and nothing more, and that shows. His frown is etched deeper than usual too. ]
We have to talk about the people we've lost. And I don't mean in a 'let's all gather and mourn' way, though that might be...beneficial to some, and I'm not against the idea.
I mean that I refuse to accept that they're gone forever and there's no way we can see them again.
Remember when we visited the void river, and we were told that our emotions, allegedly, would travel across spacetime and reach the people we've left behind? Remember Diagad, when we walked the void to bring people home? The people we've lost are still out there---they have to be, a small handful have returned, right?
If my suspicions about how this all works are correct, all we need is full control of a voidcraft...and that, of course, is the thus-far insurmountable obstacle. So I'm researching as much as I can when we touch down, and I'd like to ask for your help. If you have any other clues or theories about how reaching our lost allies would be possible. Share, please.

That's also where it was sorta suggested to me that the train could be listenin', at the very least to the ICPs. Now I don't know how much that matters, but I do know that I couldn't order locks to train on from the original six worlds. I tried. I know that the train doesn't want us to have certain information.
So with some things, we oughta keep it to ourselves and learn it on our own.

[ He rakes a hand through his hair. ]
But...I wonder if it'd be possible to get enough parts to build a secondary communication system that the train doesn't control. It might have to be rudimentary, like beepers, but. I'd settle for that if necessary.

Hell, we need text-based contact system's cause you got any idea how hard it is to break into somethin' with your wristwatch bitchin'? If we had to rely on SCAs on Diagad I wouldn'ta been able to contact Anan.
... Soldat and Roland both know morse code, too, if you ever wanted to use that as a form of output. For some reason the train don't translate it, but if you had a device, that could. Just spitballin'.

Morse is a useful option, but I don't think we're ever going to get the entire train to learn it.

Either way, might take some work. I could try an' order you a universal translator from my world, let you fiddle with it some.
[If his tech can help them get out of here, or at least give them more options, he'd supply it.]
