( Jingyi anchored, and thus he's still tired. Very tired. Flopping between areas and people to nap with kind of tired. It hasn't resolved yet, and he hates that, but he can't let him not get around to important questions.
Which is why he's on camera as crossed legs only, laying down on the bench with the ICP swiveled his direction. It's almost like he's shy... but no, he's not, he's just exhausted. )
Everything was a mess and all of us there had strange illusion things to deal with before things went really bad, but I have a question. About my friend.
( A pause. He does, in fact, literally mean this about a friend. )
Say he was in a situation where... certain boundaries were willingly crossed, but what it meant in the illusion was different from what it means outside of the illusion. And explaining what that means and how it's different is kind of important to the one they were crossed with.
( For both sides, but he's more worried about his friend than he is the other guy, for various biased reasons he has no regrets over. )
How do you handle when people here do casual things with 'dating,' but I'm from—he's from—a place where you definitely don't?

...Even so, Xian-gege always said that Lans do not show anything that is like affection beyond friendship unless that person is their fated person.
[He looks at Jingyi]
Who was it?
no subject
You've gotta ask him. That part is his story to tell.
( or not tell, though he suspects Sizhui is probably a comfort to himself. )
no subject
[He nods]
Did anyone else ah..see them?
no subject
... I don't know. It's not like I stalked then on their date, or dates, or whatever.
( no he just waited at the top of the stairs in his pjs to give Dennis the Eyeball for returning what he thought of as his little brother home too late without word. (
no subject
[How is he supposed to know? Sizhui looks at the ground, wide eyed, as he calculates what's going on]
If he was with this person, were you still friends in this illusion?
no subject
( He says this with a sigh from where he lays. )
'stead of my shidi.
no subject
[Ignore him as his eyes nearly pop out of his head]
He was your didi.
[There isn't a question to what he said. Were all of the Lan related to each other in this illusion?]
no subject
( Not that he even looks surprised at this point. He figures it was more of a natural stretch than other things, but whatever, yes, he'd been gege.
... not that any of the rest of the Lans had been with them. )
no subject
It looks like I'll need to catch up with my brother to see what had happened with him during this illusion.
[He looks at Jingyi]
But are you going to be okay? Do you need congee? Ah, I promise it won't be to Xian-ge's recipe.
no subject
's'fine, feed me later?
( That has him lifting his head, tail giving a twitch of what would have been movement if he had the energy. Wen Sizhui gets a hopeful look at that point. So hopeful. )
no subject
[He nods]
I promise, it won't be as ah...imaginative as Xian-ge's.
[He stands again then has a contemplative thought before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the qiankun pouch]
If you would like some peace and quiet, you could nap in here too.
no subject
( sizhui earns a look for his suggestion, but one that goes from disbelief into muffled laughter. tired, muffled laughter. )
No. No, thank you, I am not going into your qiankun pouch. 'M staying right here, on this terrible, too small bed.
( But that's like a thank you, because the offer is genuine: and it's so odd, being worried about one of his two friends, while the other one offers comfort in the ways he can. It just... yeah. Idiosyncrasies aside, it's nice. It's Sizhui. )
no subject
[Hey it's a quiet place and Jingyi can shrink down to a noodle. Sizhui gives him a look back]
Fine, fine, stay in your terrible bed when you could curl up in Yunmeng silk. It was a gift from Jiang-guniang, who requested Jiang-zongzhu to commission as a gift when I started my cultivator training. Xian-ge says that Yunmeng silk is the softest in all the realm.
[His tone is teasing though his offer is genuine.]
I'll come back and check on you later.
no subject
Wei-shizhang is biased.
( as he should be, but that's the muffled mutterings from Jingyi over here. )
Mm, thanks. Sleep you.
( see you. sleep well. things get confusing, when tired enough to not word well. )
no subject
[Okay he can't help but tuck up the blanket around his friend with a soft smile]
Sleep you, too, Jingyi.
