[ Della's face pops up looking... well, like everyone else - exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. She smacks her beak a bit, before speaking. ]

... So. That sucked.

[ Fully aware that's the understatement of the century, Della draws a breath, and tries again. ]

I think we could all use a nice, long breather after everything... and, gosh darn it, as Train Mom, that is my sacred duty. Hugs? Head on the lap? Head-pats telling you that you did a good job? A shoulder to cry on? Venting out all your feelings without judgement? I'm right here.

[ She slaps her chest, then slaps a small sign on on the sports/gym car. It reads

EXHAUST PILE WITHIN

But as she does this, Tidus enters the scene - Della jumps, surprised, almost forgetting his presence.

He just smiles, holding up two cups with steam coming off them, then addresses the video feed as well. ]

We're also making big batches of cocoa too. Any of you that're gonna stress bake? There's room for that room - s'long as you don't need a nap first.

[ It's a small chide though, his smile small but sympathetic. ]

I've gotten out some incense pots from the supplies - you guys who got your head thrown into a blender by that aash-- uh, that jerk, [ he takes a swift glance at Della, then back ] --it'll help you relax. Just some, but better than nothin'. I'll set some off in Momma Duck's air nest, but if you're not doing great and you think you need a pot? Tell me. Raven made a lot of good stuff for good nights sleep if you need any in the medcar, too.

... So, yes. Cocoa. Incense. Hugging. And if you want to sleep with friends for a couple nights, we got air beds and extra pillows in here. Nobody has to get up and go until they feel ready.

And if that's not enough, that's fine too. Maybe next month we do something a little more organized, if you have any suggestions - movie night, sleepover night, big eat night, whatever, I'm listening. And I'm here for you.

And inside the sports gym, the pair can be found. They have a few airbeds blown up, but there's more that still need airing up if you pop in straight after their message. There's also a tremendous amount of pillows. If you want to help, get blowing, and make these airbeds look nice and comfy!

The transgate from the standard coach has mysteriously been moved to the sports gym's outer hallway. Who did that? But it makes it easier to bring in the cups of hot chocolate from the kitchens, and for anyone who wants to bring snacks to do so. Take a seat, remember to bring your sleeping bag and whatever else you want. Plushes, your own musical instrument to offer some de-stress medication of your own with a melody.

And there's an area where small incense pots burn away, a gentle mist rising up. It won't heal the mind completely, but it will offer it some peace. And if you're worried about nightmares, a few of Raven's sachets and teas are available.

So come get a mom hug. Come and offer hugs. Just come and get something out of the company, whatever it is. Tidus and Della - and others - will be here to give a hand.

The life you had might've been fake, but the people around you aren't.

"Thanks for all the help." It's said as Tidus comes to sit by Casper, once there's a moment to. Truthfully there's been plenty, but Casper's been making the rounds himself, and it's when he sits himself, that's when Tidus decide to come over to join him. He's got a fish skewer in hand, 'cause he's had enough to drink right now.

But of course he's gonna ask with a nod to the mysterious blue bottle, "What's that?"

"Oh hey. Not a problem." He grins a little and holds up the bottle. "It's... alcohol. Magic alcohol. I'm not in it to get shitfaced, just... take the edge off a bit. ... I still have a bunch more bottles, but I wouldn't advise anyone but me trying to hold them."

He brings it nearish to Tidus so he can feel the sheer cold radiating off of it. "You might give yourself frostbite if you try."

There's a surprised 'whoa!' as the bottle comes near, and sure enough, it's like the winter just passed him by there. Pretty cool, even if he wasn't expecting it that cold!

"What is that? Is that the bottles doing that? What if you pour it into a glass?"

That can't be the drink making it cold... right!?

He pulls it back and grins. "It's called Niflheim, named after the realm of ice in my pantheon's cosmology. It's magically freezing cold. I'm immune to poisons, and alcohol counts... so it's got to be magic to do anything to me. If you put it in a glass the temperature difference might shatter it if it's not treated for it."

[blitzcheer]

"I never had to think about magical alcohol before." But there would be, wouldn't it? And it makes him laugh a little to think about. Magic, freezing alcohol!

"Guess I can't share anything like weed with you then, huh? Too bad - the train gave me a lot. I just wanted to make some food with it! ...should've made some for everyone to drop off to sleep around here, now that I think about it."

Heh. That would have been funny.

"Man... that sucks. Yeah, it started up before I was legally able to drink..." He groans exaggeratedly. It did suck but he really wasn't missing much, and he knows it.

[blitzcheer]

"Drinking's overrated anyway. Once in a while's fun," that he can admit, "but I dunno, going out and getting wasted, being a stumbling drunk? Not really been keen on that idea anyhow."

But he grins, not wanting to be a downer. "Now, food? That I'm about. I should really be trying more of it here - asking people for their favourite dishes. Or just the stuff people eat elsewhere out there!"

[helborn]

"Oh yeah, no. Not aiming for that." He shoves the bottle away into hammerspace. "I mean, I still have some poutine in here." He pats the air where he just shoved the bottle into. "Call me basic, but I love my hometown classic."

[blitzcheer]

"Poutine -- oh, is that the chip thing you got way back?" When was that, even? Feels like forever ago now!

[helborn]

"Yeah, I still have a few. I like having it around as comfort food."

[blitzcheer]

"Hmm, maybe I'll get some of mine too!" Which, nodding his head. "Fish tacos. A plate of those and an energy drink, watching a movie or a game... best way to slob around!"

[helborn]

"I could never really get into tacos... no matter which way I hold them stuff ends up spilling out. Give me a good burrito any day." He laughs, covering his mouth with his fist for a moment. "But different preferences is part of what makes life fun, right?"

[blitzcheer]

"I dunno about that," he says with a grin. "Sounds more like I need to see you suffer a plate of tacos 'til you beat the spill. It's all about how you go in, man! You own the taco, don't let the taco own you!"

[helborn]

"... If you're thinking Taco Tuesday, I'm right there with you. Because it could be any day, because we don't have a real sense of what day is what."

[blitzcheer]

"Taco Tuesdays, burrito Thursdays!" Tidus chimes cheerily. "I'm down! I'll see if I can remember to make wraps - haven't done it in ages. But you better pick some good movies for us. Invite a pal!"

[helborn]

"Burrito Bursdays." He grins and thinks carefully. "We could always ask for one of those meal packs with ingredients?"

[blitzcheer]

"Man, I'm gonna be doing so much cooking come platform." Which is to say- "Deal! We sharing with anyone? How many leftovers do we want?"

Leftovers: the sharing with your future self.

"Maybe a few? I could get one set for tacos and one for burritos? Or two. Two would be better." It's not like he doesn't have the points to swing it, anyway.

[blitzcheer]

"Hey, lemme throw in some points too! You know, we can get more than just the burritos and tacos too." If they're really going to get all that, then- "You can get appetisers and a dessert with it! Also trying to see if you can get drinks too if you ask."

Does that suddenly sound a lot? Yes, and Tidus even adds with a grin: "I try and get as much outta the train as possible."

"Oh hell yeah. Time for chips and salsa. That'd be fun... we could have a little party if we get enough. Just cut out paper tacos and stuff like that?" He smiles a little sheepishly at the suggestion. He's never thrown an impromptu party like that.

[blitzcheer]

"I'm friends with a pair of very artistic kids -- and yourself," he'll add, just in case! "--who will love to do the decorations. They'll love it! Your friends, my friends, whoever else wants to be around? Sounds like a blast! We should take over the music car."

Or somewhere like that. This was becoming bigger than movies!

"I'm not the best artist, but I can try. And yeah - I know the top floor doesn't get used a lot." He doesn't spend a ton of time in there, but it's less scent-filled than some other areas of the train.

[blitzcheer]

"Not unless a guy's sneaking up there trying to get some dancing in." Heh. He folds his arms, then, loooooking over Casper. "...You don't dance, do you?"

[helborn]

"Not... really? I tend to stick to the wall during dances, not the dance floor. I met my boyfriend like that." Plus mistletoe, but he's not sure if Tidus' world has that and he's not up for explaining the context at the moment.

"I can sing, though."

[blitzcheer]

"Singing's cool." but also, back to that not dancing thing. "--buuut, how'd you feel learning some dance moves? Learning some moves, having a good-looking guy to teach you? Not that I'm trying to hook you up after you mention a boyfriend!"

But also, you know!! Trying to sell some dance lessons here!!
