announcing room service! (evening after the mission)

[ One of the resident healers looks a little tired, but she's relatively fine. Time to hold it together for the others. ]

Hi everyone! Mami here.

I know we've all faced a long week and a difficult battle, and some of us are so worn out we can barely stand. Hiking to the dining car is difficult even with the transport ring, isn't it?

That's why I'm starting room service runs for people in need! Meals delivered directly to your door. For tonight's meal I'll be bringing a choice of coconut soup, shrimp stew, or chicken curry, and a dessert choice of coconut cream pie or macaroons. I'm also willing to take special requests if you have any more specific needs, or if there's something special to you that would make you feel better.

If anyone's willing to help me with cooking, delivery, or cleanup, I'd really appreciate it, but don't worry. I can get through this myself with a little planning.

Yeah! I think it's mostly the people who helped those other people get home that ended up super tired..

[ Sure, it's not like Madoka wasn't tired from fighting and trying to keep people safe either, but she's determined to bounce back quickly. Especially when there is an opportunity to help people. ]

But that's why I want to help them! And doing it together with you makes it even more fun, Mami-san.

Right. Stepping into the void really takes its toll, it seems.

[ She smiles, happy. ]

And if I can get all the food sorted out...once everyone's fed, maybe we should combine it with a cheer-up visit?

[ Madoka pauses, looking surprised for a moment. Not at the idea of a cheer-up visit itself, that sounds great to her, but it just makes her think of something else.. ]

.. Is there anyone you want to visit in particular? [ Considering it sounds like it's a separate thing from the food. ]

[ Mami stops and thinks about this. ]

Kyoko-san on the Blue team worked in the Void, so I'm sure she's tired. And then there's Nozomi, and your girlfriend of course...

If there's anyone you need something special for, I can do it.

Hmmm..

[ Checking up on Kyoko does sound like a good idea. And if Mami wants to see Nozomi to see how she's doing, then of course Madoka will go along with that too. It's the last point she's lingering on, and it makes something in her expression drop a little. ]

Yeah, I guess I should be extra nice to Ple Two.. I feel really bad for forgetting who she was, especially when she already remembered.

We all forgot each other for a little while, and some of us were placed in families that made it even stranger.

[ Mami reaches over to give Madoka's hand a reassuring squeeze. ]

I'm confident there's nothing to forgive. But do you want me to help you deliver something extra special to Ple Two?

[happyends]

[ She nods. ]

As long as you don't mind..? [ Considering it's already going to be a lot of effort to cook food for all these people, even if Madoka is 100% sure about the fact that she's going to help Mami with that effort! Every little bit extra is still a bit more work, after all. ]

I'd like to make something special for her as a way to say sorry, anyway.. And you always know how to make the yummiest things, Mami-san.
