Sounds like any other crossing over of political bodies—hah, thankfully we didn't have much of that, though there could have been more. Hero can be a title of a sort, but titles are names and are earned and granted by others, and might be a touch more frustrating. Don't worry, I haven't tried sticking you with one of those yet.

( If he smiles when he says that, it's because his was granted with you know, a whole lot of not great intent behind it, and he can't say he doesn't understand the fear that turned his "given" title into a person of nightmares for generations. His name had been used that way by others for a purpose, and he wasn't without mistakes and deliberate unregretted actions that made him frightening on his own.
