Video; Afternoon Catfish Day 23
Good afternoon, Voidtreckers. If I haven't met you yet, I'm Tony Stark. I have a few matters to discuss with all of you.
For those who are new to this train, please fill out the questionnaire that was attached to each ICP in the 'welcome packet'. Yes, these answers are kept strictly confidential and the only purpose for me collecting them is to find some kind of pattern in being brought here. For those who have been here longer, please check if you've completed all the questions as I've added a few. If this irritates you, blame Peter Parker.
Anyway, as requested, I'm going to be giving the Train Council a debriefing on my findings so far in the next few days. Spoiler alert, I've found very little patterns.
For anyone interested, I'll be posting a list of currently offered classes and at what time per week on the door going into the dining carriage. As of right now, there are yoga classes every morning at 8:30, people offering various types of sparring lessons, and I'll be starting school with a class on math and a class on science later this week. If you're interested, let me know so I can give you a pre-class test to see where your current level is.
Does anyone garden? I've been working on an update ventilation system since we have kids on the train and those who potential have compromised breathing. It occurred to me, we might benefit greatly if we started to add small gardens throughout the train. I'll create proper lighting. If someone can build some gardening boxes, that would also be appreciated. As of now I have a list of the items in the kitchen that can be planted for those who would enjoy such activities.
Lastly, is the damn book-demon idiot still occupying and being a pain in the ass in the garden carriage? You've got one hour to cut that out.
Feanor, come find me. We need to talk.
[ooc- The bold is OOC so people can skim this easier.]

Re: Action
[He chuckled and gave Ignis a wink.]
Eva said she’d heard from someone on the council complaining that I keep asking for additional information with these questionnaire and haven’t presented any findings. I didn’t ask who, but she asked if I would do so. My problem is, there haven’t been anything substantial to present. People have shared some very personal things so I can’t show any details from anyone’s forms. So, advisor, advise me.
Action
[He took a sip of the coffee and listened carefully. Ignis half frowned at what he was hearing but it was bound to happen that someone would eventually ask Tony for his report.]
Well you can't go and share anything personal of course.
[He for one wouldn't want his information out there. What the older man had learned and what he was told was confidential and had been conveyed verbally. Add to that Tony had saved the younger man's life before anything personal was revealed so that trust had been earned.]
Is there anything wrong with admitting that there are no patterns?
[After taking another sip of coffee, Ignis shook his head and spoke in a gentler tone than his usual soft one.]
It doesn't mean that you failed. You're trying to help everyone here by attempting to discern patterns, so your noble heart is in the right place as it always is.
no subject
[You really couldn't take him anywhere.
He takes a moment to consider what the younger man was saying. They were of the same mind regarding confidentiality. No matter what the council requested, he wasn't breaching the trust he'd earned.]
Maybe, maybe not? It's hard to say. If I am not achieving what I claim to be doing, do I lose the trust of the community? I'm unsure of how strong my influence is here after more than one council meeting with barely anyone attending.
no subject
If all of those people have willingly confided their secrets to you, I'd hardly call that losing trust. And if anything happened to you, there would be a lot of lost souls aboard this train.
[Ignis paused before he included himself in that statement and looked at Tony directly.]
Do you feel like you failed? Or do you believe you have everyone's best interests at heart and are doing the right thing regardless of what others think of you?
[This is a trick question Tony. Think carefully before answering this one, it could be a trap.]
no subject
I'm not sure. I feel like I should have more to show for all the work I've done with this data and in general. We're not any closer to knowing the conductor or getting people home.
no subject
Perhaps you should, but you don't. And in return you have the trust and faith of most if not all of the passengers aboard.
[He shrugged and gave Tony a smile.]
While that might not quite satisfy a council for findings per say, it is still a great accomplishment.
no subject
He flashed the other man a small smile, more genuine than the arrogant one he often wore. Slipping out of the booth, he moved over to the same side and without saying another word, pulled Ignis into a kiss.]
no subject
There were no words being spoken and all of a sudden he found himself being pulled in for a kiss. This was unexpected but very welcome of course and the advisor kissed Tont back.]
no subject
After a few more moments of this, he drew back. He was grinning with a playful light to his eyes.]
I'm so glad I ignored you when you said you weren't interested in me.
no subject
Ignis couldn't logic much right now since he was caught up in what was going on. And so when Tony pulled back and spoke, the words took a moment to register.]
I..oh.
[His face turned a little bit red here.]
I thought it a perfectly logical thing to say at the time. After all I thought there was no way that you could ever realistically be interested in me.
no subject
Dumbass.
[He pulled Ignis right back in for another kiss, drawing him even closer to him.. and maybe a bit against the wall behind him.]
no subject
The advisor didn't gamble on whims, and Tony was in fact persistent in pursuing him both intimately and and not. The elder man consistently reached out for and to him which impressed Ignis more than he could ever say.]
Not dumb, I call it erring on the side of caution.
[Even still, being pushed against the wall was thrilling and totally Tony. Ignis thought to stop them but somehow felt like this was important, so he didn't.]
no subject
I call it, ignorant of how marvelous you are, Tiger.
[A little, pot calling the kettle black here, but he knew how fragile Ignis' self-esteem was. He kissed along sensitive kiss, nearing the advisor's ear.]
Do you have any idea how much light you bring to my world, darling?
no subject
More than likely the same amount that you bring to mine.
[Those words were spoken a little breathily but still heartfelt all the same.]
no subject
You smell like you could use as 'shower', Tiger..
[His hand found Ignis' and giving it a tug towards the door. They had somewhere more private to be than this quiet room with its glass door would allow.]
no subject
As long as it's with you.
[Ignis then didn't resist Tony tugging on his hand and willingly left with him.]
