On the subject of training, ignoring the Express part, and sadly lacking any Void technical backup, who else has experience with or abilities in generating illusions, or confusion arrays, anything that fools senses into believing something is there that isn't—in dreams or waking, I suppose.

Brief as our time at the Undersea Monastery was, our quiet monks provided a dip into things we can try to keep working with here: meditation and illusion breakaways. There's a few from my close-to-home world who have skills in either and are willing offer training for those interested, and I'm looking for other perspectives and talents to do the same. We may not be Void powered, but there are patterns enough to keep training people to recognise.

It depends on the culture? In my case it's important because of the half that's related to a god, not the half related to him. I've met a few... cousins? Grand-cousins? And a few cousins.

... The cousins were not exactly friendly, but that's kind of what happens when you pledge allegiance to the titans.

I think I understand a little? While I have no idea who these titans are, allegiances between different groups, particularly in opposition, does have a habit of leading to tensions even in more polite social interactions. You know, the less outright out for blood ones, like afternoon banquets, where they keep it to cutting tongues and flowing wine, that sort of thing.

... As much as I prefer to avoid bloodshed, I think I'd rather take a brawl than that kind of fight.

Mm, at least in a brawl you get to punch the annoyances directly.

Yeah. I mean my pantheon gets accused of being one of the most violent, but sometimes someone needs a punch.

... Though ours does have a history of going overboard.

Aaah I know some who'd lean that way... though it'd take more than five years for one, and be for more than an eye, and less than that for another, and for less than an eye. Not so much my family, but people I know at large.

Yeah. It can be... difficult to deal with those kinds of people.

If you're really dealing with them at all, versus being dealt with by them! Either way, yes, let's not overly concern ourselves with those who prefer to set up their grand schemes for revenge from the shadows.
