( He starts with his hand falling away from the ICP, and then Wei Wuxian lifts them both, cupping them to bow to the screen; polite, but not overly so. He's in one of the carriages' open spaces rather than any closed and quieter room. )
Hello, Trainlings! On the subject of training, ignoring the Express part, and sadly lacking any Void technical backup, who else has experience with or abilities in generating illusions, or confusion arrays, anything that fools senses into believing something is there that isn't—in dreams or waking, I suppose.
( He waves a hand, smiling at the screen. )
Brief as our time at the Undersea Monastery was, our quiet monks provided a dip into things we can try to keep working with here: meditation and illusion breakaways. There's a few from my close-to-home world who have skills in either and are willing offer training for those interested, and I'm looking for other perspectives and talents to do the same. We may not be Void powered, but there are patterns enough to keep training people to recognise.
( This is followed by a pause, and his eyes drifting upward, before he clears his throat and, with another grin that's a bit less sincere, adds: )
Also, with the, ah, animal populations on board. Exactly how many dogs or other dog-like animals are on train? And do you have any set, er, schedules or. Places. Where you let them free.

I'm something of a sorcerer, though most of my people don't like that word. I can cast visions into the minds of others, or just fill the atmosphere with them and let anybody who is present experience them.

Hah, a question I had on the caves, or the waters in general in that watery-enough environment. Either way, that's great! It can help with people looking to train themselves on recognising and getting through illusions, or at least learning when to call for help on them, maybe? Ah, that's a harder one... the devices we use on mission, they'd likely be functioning, and I don't have the equivalent to train that other than having second and third parties on standby to "respond" to any calls.
... Not that this is a bad idea, either... hm!

Well, I can do both. Train others, if they are willing and have some nascent ability they can develop with my help. Or on a mission, I can come running if anybody calls for help.
Yes, I think that last one is a good idea too. I've been a first responder in another world, a firefighter. I guess unwanted visions are just a different type of fire. Sometimes literally!

Hah! Yes, you're right about that. Besides, on a train like this, maybe firefighting is something else we could get used to practising.
( He winks. Though he's also serious, since who knows when someone in this contained space ends up setting a fire... not that he knows the extent of people's abilities, but some probably could have that covered if on hand. Still! )
Either way, thank you, your willingness is a credit to you! And the rest of us. I'll figure out more of the workable details and get back to you and the rest, then we can reach out to the train as a whole with a training schedule for those willing.

I wouldn't mind practicing firefighting. Peter Parker has blown up the lab, or parts of it, more than once. And I don't think he's the only one who's ever done it! We might have to put out a fire someday.
[ He winks back. ]
All right! I'll be waiting for your message! [ Grin. ]

Ah, you know, considering who's been here, I can understand why it's never really meant much. Cultivation doesn't need explanation where we're from, but mah, enough people have asked here, if we don't find ways to word it, how does that help?
( He's still amused, however. )
Mm, this Peter Parker sounds very formidable, a worthy test of fire fighting skills. He and anyone else so likely! Better to prepare than be caught offguard, ah?
( And lo, time to also start a fire response team, can we get Lapis Lazuli on this? )
When I'm sending out said message, how should I be referring to you? This one is Wei Wuxian, lately of Gusu Lan, trained in Yunmeng Jiang.

[ Curufin is amused, too. ]
Peter Parker is a very nice young man who has super-powers. He also has some craft and scientific skills, and that explains his use of the lab that Tony Stark used to maintain and perform experiments in. [ He laughs. ] I don't know if that explains the explosions, though.
[ Curufin would go for that idea, a fire response team. He hasn't ever talked to Lapis Lazuli, but he'd be glad to contact her when they're ready to assemble the team. ]
When you send the message, you refer to me as Curufin Fëanorion. I'm of the Elven race, from Middle-earth. By the way, pleased to meet you, Wei Wuxian!
[ He's met the previous version of Wei Wuxian, and is aware that they are from alternate worlds. The same people leave and come back, but they aren't precisely the same people, because they don't remember events on the train that happened before they returned. And sometimes they don't have exactly the same histories. And now the train seems amenable to having more than one version of the same person on the train at the same time. ]

Mm, I don't know, it bears further investigation. Or else simply focus on the fire response team.
( He grins, then shakes his head: he thinks it's worthwhile, regardless of the sources. )
Well met in turn, Curufin Fëanorion. I look forward to our future cooperation! Also hearing more about your home and people, should you be so inclined!
( It's on that note that he waves his goodbye for the moment, ready to carry on with what else he's got on his plate. )
no subject
I think that simply focusing on the fire response team would be good.
[ Curufin is still grinning, too. ]
I also look forward to our future cooperation. And anytime you want to hear about my home and my people, you can. We should sit down over a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine, sometime. I'd like to hear about your life and your background as well!
[ He waves back, with a smile, and heads off to his projects. ]
