... So if we vote for a lab the scientists shut up and any damage is contained. Right now I think they're using the quiet car which is sort of the opposite of what it's intended for.

And I'd like the quiet car back for... quiet. And doing some writing and such. So let's just... get it over with.

[He looks like he's about to turn off the screen, but stops.]

Also Q'uila, Della, Zagreus, and Thanatos - wanted to have a chat with you. Uh, not together? I mean you could, but I just - there's no private filtering here.

Yeah, that was already on the list. Along with panic showers for the chem lab and a specialized welding area curtained off from the rest of the machine shop.

Man, you're good. Do you design all sorts of things, or just science stuff?

Oh, and I wanted to ask if you wanted to borrow my grief therapy textbook.

I mean, in theory I'm mostly hardware of the robotics kind, but my brother was head of R&D on a giant megacorp's research station, so I can do passably at a little of everything.

And I'd appreciate it - I'm finally getting most of the way through the intro stuff, at least.

And hey, no problem. I don't mind. I should probably order another one... I'm not qualified, but I mean... I've got some hands on experience on both sides of the divide.

Nothing you couldn't learn, if you wanted. I think that printer Yondu got has some basic 3D modelling stuff on it if you can't find anything else to learn with.

Nobody's qualified, but we're the best we've got, right?

Oh I can't draw for shit, and I honestly have no idea how to use 3D modeling software. I assume you have to draw.

... Yeah. [He sighs.] Kinda scary, huh?

Eh, it's kind of drawing-adjacent at most. Like a weird middle ground between drawing and sculpting.

It's a bit of pressure. But we're doing what we can around here for each other, that's all.
