... So if we vote for a lab the scientists shut up and any damage is contained. Right now I think they're using the quiet car which is sort of the opposite of what it's intended for.

And I'd like the quiet car back for... quiet. And doing some writing and such. So let's just... get it over with.

[He looks like he's about to turn off the screen, but stops.]

Also Q'uila, Della, Zagreus, and Thanatos - wanted to have a chat with you. Uh, not together? I mean you could, but I just - there's no private filtering here.

Well yeah, then there'll be a place for all of that stuff.

What kind of stuff is usually getting left out anyway?

... And what is a lab? Or a scientist?

A lab is where scientists tend to have tools and such - like a workshop.

And at least in my world, by most definitions a scientist is someone who uses natural laws to discover things about the world around them. No mana, no chi, no... other supernatural abilities.

Ah, so scholars, inventors, and doctors.

( To cover the whole of it all, in broad, because people in all those professions didn't have to rely on qi, though often qi was a useful addition to any and all of the above.

Are there any unnatural laws people discover governing the worlds?

... In my world yes, but it's complicated. Magic and science are true at the same time. There's multiple pantheons with creation myths, and they all happened. People who aren't connected to the supernatural side of things don't know that stuff, though... and there's very few people who do know.

If I'm understanding... you mean that all beliefs, in all the ways people understand the world to have come to the way it is, or whatever they believe was responsible for its forming and stuff. All that is simultaneously true on your world

If there's enough people who believe it, yeah. Like... one of the goddesses in another pantheon used to be a war goddess as well as one of love, but enough people only believed the love goddess part that she just... kind of lost the war part.

Ugh, depending on people's beliefs, that sounds like such a headache. People change opinions with the seasons sometimes, or even faster!

Fortunately it's not just a single person's belief that does it, but a collective one. How that's defined I... don't honestly know.
