I would like to ask after the nature of this poll.

Is it a regular occurrence? Is the inquiry intended to be abstract or does it have an specific origin and purpose unknown to those who might have become passengers since the last platform?

Science is, at its most fundamental level, discovering new things based upon theorizing and testing those theories in a controlled environment. Those tests are called experiments, although the term can broadly be used for any action undertaken with the express purpose of learning what results it will produce.

So, throwing yourself at a horde of various creatures with murderous intent until you eventually succeed is an experiment? As a completely random example.

What? No, that-that is just an extreme form of recklessness! Experiments are undertaken to discover the unknown, not to simply brute force a desired result!

But I am discovering the unknown! I'm learning the attack patterns, movements, and strengths and weaknesses of various Underworld denizens, as well as what strategies work and what strategies don't to defeat each of them!
