[Ryo gets on the ICPs the evening of the visit to the Nexus with a warning - better to share what he's learned than to let someone get hurt, even if the implications are...a little embarrassing.]

Be careful with the nectar pods if you eat them - the glowing liquid doesn't come off without a few good washes, and evidently it attracts one of the really big fish out there. Don't get any on you if you don't want to get...well, eaten.

Though if anyone wants to try to snare one of those fish, I...have bait you can use.

I do plan on going out and gathering more of the plants tomorrow to help with our food stores, if anyone with an arms band or another means of storage wants to join me.

[They do, but it's mostly in port towns and he has very little experience with those.]

It's a general food type from an island chain in my world - cuts of fish on rice soaked in vinegar, or made into rolls wrapped in seaweed. The most famous kinds of sushi involve raw fish, but it doesn't have to be.

And the train was nice enough to give us lots of nori and rice, so, I'm going to make and freeze as much of it as I can. It's kind of a specialty or a delicacy for a lot of people.

What about you? Does your world do anything with seafood that you miss? We don't really get a lot of it around here.

Not really? Not that I've had, at least. I tend to prefer rabbit.

I've never had rabbit, myself.

[Supermarkets don't tend to carry it, especially not high-class Californian ones. And there weren't a lot of rabbits to catch in space or Hawaii.]

I've heard it's pretty similar to poultry, though, so I wouldn't exactly turn it down.

['I've never had rabbit' is surprising, but things are different between worlds - it's possible they're not everywhere on Ghost's world like they are on Ryo's.]
