In my defense, Chemistry is an exact science-it's not uncommon to have small explosions.

Oh well, in fact I understand. I blew the forge up more than once, when I was experimenting with new metallurgic processes, back home. So did my dad.

Yup. Explosions are just part of the experimentation process.

What is this webbing you spoke of?

Because I helped someone build it a while ago when we needed it.

Oh! My webbing is a adhesive thing I make that I used in battles a lot and it's dead useful for getting around places quickly.

...places that aren't a train, anyway.

I wasn't trying to set things on fire-I'm working on something and I miscalculated but nothing's on fire so that's the important part.

I did lose my experiment though, so that's a bummer.

I think that's admirable, that you know enough about the chemistry of your webbing to have theories as to how to improve it.

Of course I do, I'm the one that invented it. It's one thing I'm really proud of.

And that invention was the reason you became Spider Man? Guess it must have been!

Uh... no. That was because of a thing and a bad decision that uh.... well, it wasn't good. So I became Spider-Man to make sure it doesn't happen again.
